So I change my tape every 5-7 like my surgeon said to go, as I was changing it today I noticed that along my incision line there is a very red area with an abscesswith white and yellow stuff inside. It isnt very big, like 1cm (like i said not big). This is the same spot I've been having pain in. I'll have to call my surgeon in the morning. :(

Anyone else have a problem like this?

Can't say I have any experience with this but definitely don't let it go, much easier to tackle an infection early.

The way I knew I had an infection in both arms after brachioplasty was it was bright red, hard and hot to the touch.  I didn't really have pain but I have a high pain tolerance so I don't take that into effect normally.  I had no draining but did have an infection.
