TT was Monday and today I have really bad gas trapped in my back and side.  Any tips on how to get it to go away.  I've taken some GasX and its not helping.

walk as much as you can . lay down on your back and try to pull your knees to your chest. we do that to babies to make them pass gas and it works on us big people to

That is the most horrible feeling in the world!  I had it with my hysterectomy and my Sicilian grandmother, who was 103 years old at the time told me to put a heating pad on it.  I did and it worked - go figure!  Give it a shot.  I hope you get some relief soon - I know exactly what you are going through.  Donna

Walking will help which I know is tough right now since you just had surgery, but even just short walks to help move things around should help get the gas moving.

If you use a heating pad as suggested, use it on your back, you don't want a heating pad on your belly at this point.
