I have GEHA, high option. As I read it, if it is cosmetic, they won't pay it. If it is medically necessary, they probably will (i.e., Panneculetomy causing rashes).
I know that GEHA paid for rhinoplastic to fix my broken nose, ankle reconstruction surgery, Lap Band surgery and a whole of physical therapy for my ankle in 2008 without giving me any grief. But I already know, in my case, they won't pay for any plastics. I am blessed with skin that is recovering very well with the weight loss and anything I could contemplate doing is cosmetic.
