You'll never believe why they cancelled my surgery!

I'm so sorry this happened to you! I have read some of your posts and I know that you were so excited about this day! I am going in on tuesday next week, and i have to pay the day of surgery. I only paid surgeon fees ahead of time, but hospital fees and anesthesioligist  I will have to pay the day of. I will be going to the bank and taking out the money to avoid any complication a day before, now I know.  Wish you the best!

I too am surprised they didn't make you pay sooner.  I have my pre-op appointment this Friday and was told today exactly what the fees are and the methods of payment they accept.

I hope it gets rescheduled real soon for you.

Oh no Melissa, I was thinking of you today, then I read this. . I am so sorry you had to go through this. It is so unfortunate here you are (as most women do) taking care of everything and all you need is for someone else to do their job well and it just does not happen. I get tired of covering every little area to make sure my life goes smooth!

Sometimes the karma is not right though and there are reasons for everything. It was not meant to be for you today.

Deep breaths, soft music, burning candles and incense. Maybe a long hot bath...

wow that is terrible.  i am very sorry for all the pain that this has caused you.  the hospital, plastic surgeon, anesthesiologists here all take checks--but if you use the day surgery clinic.......... they require cash or credit card........ but PS office tells you all this when they give you the fee paper and set up your pre-op appointment.

of course the hospital here did repeatedly bill me for money i didn't owe.  but the ps was great, he called the head administrator and cleared things up. administrator said it was a glitch in the system.  ( i wondered if they just automatically sent out extra billing for extra money to see if anyone just paid without asking questions.
