New date and a lower price!!!!!
I will have my surgery April 28th. So, my countdown has begun and I am super excited. What will I do with the next few weeks???? I am super happy I have changed surgeons and I have found a way to drastically reduce my out of pocket expense.
I am having a complete tummy tuck and breast lift with augmentation.
Between now and the 2nd of April i need to make a choice on size. I will get around to that.
I will up my protein and I will reduce my weight training but, I will also increase cardio. I was told it is better not to over stress the muscles so, will take head. I just wanted to update everyone on my "plastic" journey.

So exciting, and the time can be a killer, trust me! I knew 30 days in advance, I don't know what I'd have done if it were more than that! I just finished my LBL, which was tt included and fluer de lis cut (down center of tummy). I did BL last year but no aug...
I'm super happy. I have heard people say to keep doing the weight training as strong muscles heal faster...but I would say obey your surgeon's advise. Protein is definitely a factor too! Promotes healing.
Good luck with it, it will be tough, but always worth the results!

I get about 100g protein daily, but my PS wants me to increase my daily protein even more about a month prior to surgery. He also told me to stock up on protein shakes for post op so that I can boost protein/make sure I continue to get in lots of protein.
And you know, it sucks waiting 3mos for a surgery date - but I'm post-op 5 years, and there have been times that I have despaired that I would never be able to have this done. I've waited for this long, I suppose I can wait abit longer. lol I've been on cloud nine for a week. I can actually smile at my saggy belly now - because I'm daily waving good bye to the last reminders of my formerly SMO self. :)

I don't care for breakfast foods (unless it's the stuff that I'm not supposed to have, carbs) I bake a TON of chicken breasts every week ( I buy in bulk from Sam's). I usually have a small salad with a 3-4 oz backed chicken breast diced up with a light dressing for breakfast and lunch (or swap out for tuna salad, breakfast or lunch), then have a nice dinner. I make different chicken dinners - stir fry, chicken wraps, soups, chicken parmesan, etc. Dinner is usually mostly protein, a little veg, and a bit of carb. Rarely I'll have beef, but it settles heavy on my stomach, so I don't get as much protein in.
Oh and my tuna salad has a pouch of mesquite tuna, 1 boiled egg, a bit of mustard, a bit of sweet relish, a bit of mayo, some pepper and some old Bay. (I don't care for fishies - so I load up on flavor to cover the taste, lol)
My wls prefers that his patients not depend on protein shakes, and to do 3 small (normal?) meals a day, with preferrably no snacking, but if we must - then it must be a protein snack. I'm trying to drop about a few before my PS in June, so I'm on my wls weight loss plan. It's slightly different for the maintenance program
