Does this price seem reasonable?
Just wondering if you guys think $9,580 is reasonable for a lower body lift? The quote I was given is
Surgeon's Fees: $5700
OR: $1730
Anesthesia: $1150
1 night in the hospital: $1000
The doc is board certified and is the recommendation that I hear over and over from my support group.
Also, I haven't been to the breast guy yet (that's Monday). Any ideas on cost for an auto-augmentation breast lift (no implants)?

Wow Corinna, this is one of the few times I like living in Arkansas! Actually, I'm just kidding (I like it here), but holy cow that's a huge difference. I do want to clarify that this quote was only for the LBL. I haven't gotten the price for the BL - I'll know on Monday. Hopefully it will be affordable.
How are you feeling? Didn't you have a blood clot? I've been reading your posts. Are you pleased with the outcome of your surgery so far?

No that was for both the LBL and BA. But the BA was only an additional $5k so most of that cost was for the LBL. I had mine done at the same time though so I didn't have to pay the facility/anasthesilogist/etc fees twice.
Kind of funny...I was in Arkansas two summers ago for two months and had my dog with me...he got sick and I had to take him to the vet while I was there. He had to stay over night and get all kinds of shots and pills and special food...my bill was less than $200. I stared at the woman in shock and said, "are you kidding?" she said, "I know, it's a lot" I started laughing and told her that if this had happened in Seattle my bill would have been $600.
I'm feeling pretty good these days. Yep, I had a blood clot..it was scary but is being dealt with correctly now so I'm actually feeling like a real person again :-) I'm very happy with my outcome!!! Can't quite believe it's my body :-)

Corinna,
Glad to hear you're a fellow dog lover! I don't know what I would do without mine. What part of Arkansas did you visit?
Sounds like you've got this recovery thing down - you'll have to post some pics sometime. I wish I could have both at the same time but again, these doctors want to stick with their specialties. Hope that equals a great body for me.
