I just was wondering what scar cremes you found good and was not alot of money.  I had my arm tuck done the end of Feb. I have been using a scar creme. It is ok but rather expensive.  I would like to find one not as expensive but good.  Thanks  Gail

I think Mederma did a really good job on my breasts.  I'm using it now on my arms.  I also tried Dermatix (something like that)...it's about $50 for a very small amount but it does a nice job.  Since I have so many scars all over my body I'm using mederma....otherwise the scar cream for my legs, hips, stomach, arms, etc will cost the same as a procedure..LOL

How you doing?

Hey Ruth, I am doing pretty good. Suffering a little homesick for all my friends in Florida still, but in time it should get better. I had some expensive scar creme too but it was ok but I cant afford to keep buying that expensive stuff. I am going to try vitamin E.  Have a great Memorial day Weekend.  Gail

I'm just using Pure Vit E oil and Cocoa Butter.  My doc  says they give the same results and are much cheaper.

Thanks for the advice. I have heard the same thing about Vitamin E. I have some here so I am going to try it.   Gail

Thanks all - I was wondering the same question for my upcoming surgery.  The different creams and gels are quite expensive, so I am definitely going to give the Vit E and Cocoa Butter a shot this time.  I really want better results than I've gotten in the past.  I don't like the way the dark/shiny wide scars look on my dark skin.  I truly hope that this time around, my healing process will produce better results with this advice.

Thanks again,
Rose
