Pannus Removal - Letting Go...??

This problem affects men just as much as it affects women.   I had a Pannus that was about 8 inches from the floor.   When the Doctor removed it, it was 61 lbs not including the 72 sponges of water he took off as well.   I do not miss it one bit, I am still considered morbidly obese, but now I have the ability to follow my doctor orders to exercise.   I can't believe the difference in the way that people look at me, before they looked at me as some kind of freak, now I am just the "Fat Man".   I am working on all my related heath issues, please know that anyone considering this operation it is life changer.   Since we all are share (TMI)  the first time I was able to use a urinal (in the restroom)  in more than 15 years I celebrated.

I can't say I relate. I remember being 8, and looking at my tummy (almost the same as it is now without saggy skin) and thinking CUT IT OFF!  I still look at it like that, and think "CUT IT OFF" everytime I have to call the insurance comapnay and harass them for the TT. Who knows if I will have a hard time afterwords. I do have a hard time with the weight loss sometimes. I look in the mirror and think "who is that". I actually had to get a new license pic becacause I couldn't get into anywhere 21 or older. They didn't think it was me!  They gave me the new license, and I almost handed it back and said that it wasn't me. IT WAS ME!!! How emabrassing would that have been?  I probably will have some mind games going on, but I think I can live without the lovely sores I get under my tummy. Honey you have some nice curves, the TT will not take away the hour class, just the pear shape. You will just be more of a hourglass!  Work it!
