ADOPTING PETS FROM THE HURRICANE AREA

Is anyone in the hurricane outskirts adopting a displaced pet? I would like to but I live to far away. Many no longer have owners as they have died or the owners no longer can care for a pet and had to surrender them.

I know we wanted to find a misplaced Yorkie or Yorkie mix but cannot find out where to find answers. Where would one find that out??
