Getting a minature beagle

Hello everyone, my hubby and I have decided to extend our family and get a puppy. We are getting a 6 week old minature beagle. We will be picking her up next Thursday. Any advice on how to potty train her? I am a stay at home mom who is having WLS March 24 and I hope to get her house trained before then. Also, what sorts of vaccinations will she need? I have trained three puppies in the last ten years. The best easiest way is to crate train them. They get the plot and you don't clean as much. CONGRATULATIONS on your new addition to the family!
