Morning!   Well, had a good day yesterday.   Sadie is loving dance class.   I lifted her up and let her look in the window of one of the other studios so she could see  "big girl" dance class.   She was soooo excited wanting to be in the big girl dance class now.   I think we'll put her in a session again in the fall as long as she likes it this much.   Tonight is a baseball game gathering for my husband's work.   Should be a good time.  I am going to get a nap in or at least try to this afternoon before going.  Luke had his first fill yesterday so he's back on liquids for today.  He doesn't seem to mind though.  He's down 27 lbs already so he's doing great.  Talked to my daughter who is in Louisianna last night and she was doing well.

Have a great day everyone!

Morning!  I am home today with the little ones.  It was a fun and crazy night with all the little ones running around, the teens & neighborhood friends.  Sleep came quick for the little ones as we tired them out.  Unfortunately for me they did not all sleep through the night well and all woke up early.  Not much in plan for the day.  Will probably work on some stuff here at home while I have the time.  Hope you all have a great one!

Court, I am beginning to see a pattern already........ Home Depot is going to be your & hubby's new hang-out for awhile!!!!  It's fun, though, huh?

Michelle, hope you sleep better tonight!!!  Keep us updated on how DH's appoinment went, hard to believe it has been a whole month already!!!  How's he feeling?

We have been "getting back into the routine" around here, and Hunter was a COMPLETE pill for daycare yesterday.  I am sure between my daycare lady & mom & dad, he'll be whipped back into shape.
Sounds like DH's parents will be coming back over to our house Sometime Sunday, and spending time with us until they leave on the plane Tuesday morning.  Fortunately, DH was able to get Monday off, so he will be spending the entire day with them .
I know he has had a hard time "sharing" them with his sister.

Have a GREAT DAY!!!!

Well, Court, one thing is you should sleep great tonight!!   Have fun with the kiddos!   I wish Sadie had an auntie near by like that.   My sisters would do it but they are all 3 1/2 hrs away.   You are so much appreciated I'm sure.   Sounds like your house is coming along great.  We have a dessert night for church at our house Aug 16th so I really need to get things finished up around here before then.

We had a good day yesterday as well.   Worked my 9 hrs then we had softball last night.  Didn't sleep so well last night for some reason so I'm tired today.   Sadie has dance again today other than that we have no plans.   Maybe hubby and I will get some tennis in tonight.  DH has an appt with his surgeon today.  It's been a month since surgery already...he may get his first fill today if the Dr thinks he needs it.   That will put him back to liquids for a couple of days so I haven't made plans for dinner yet.  Just looking forward to the weekend here!

Morning!!!!  Great day for me yesterday.  The office was quiet so I was able to get quite a bit done with no headaches from others.  After work hubby & I hit up Sears & Home Depot for some house stuff.  Then it was home for a lovely dinner and some tv time.

Lots of plans for today.  1st is work of course, busy with lots of stuff going on in the office.  Tonight is fun at Aunt Courtney's as I will be babysitting nieces & nephews so my sisters & their hubby's can go out for their Bday's.  Lots of little ones running around (4 - 6 & under, 4 - teens) so it will be crazy busy at my house tonight.

Hope you ladies have a great day!!!

Topic: RE: Totally Tuesday!

Last night, after work, DH, Hunter & I went over to my sister's, returned the motorhome we borrowed (all cleaned, filled up & all that jazz) and, since I missed my nephew's 6th b-day on Saturday, we brought over his presents too.  Got him a Nerf bow & arrow.  It was a complete hit!!!!  Sounds like his b-day party would have been a blast.  My sister rented a big blow-up water slide, so all the kids had a great afternoon.  Too bad Hunter missed it, as we were gone camping.

Sometime this week, we will have the in-laws over, and all go out to have dinner somewhere, and we are also planning to invite all of the family over to our house for dinner one night, before the in-laws leave next Tuesday morning.  DH does not have another day off before his parents get on the plane, except the day they are leaving, as he is taking them into the airport.

Have a GREAT day, ladies!!!!!

Yayyy it's not Monday any more LOL.  Glad to see you back Jamie and that you had a great time.   I'm jealous though...I'm so ready for another camping weekend.    Oh Court I sooo know how the teenager thing goes...good luck with that.

We had a good day yesterday.  Sadie and I had our mommy and me dance class...she learned a lot and is loving it.   We came home and she wanted pancakes for supper so I made her blueberry pancakes...she ate 2 huge pancakes and wanted more.   I told her she could have more another day LOL.  Then we just relaxes around the house for the evening.  Today we have a softball game but not sure if it'll happen since it's been raining all morning and isn't supposed to stop.

Morning ladies!  MIchelle, I am so glad to hear you are feeling better.  I hope it contines and multiplies!!  Jaime, welcome back, you were missed but glad you had a great time!!

So things are coming together well at home.  I have to say it is soooo nice to have our own home.  I love the house itself, am very happy with the things we are doing to it and just enjoy having our own space.  We are struggling a bit as we set boundaries, rules, guidelines, etc at home with teenagers.  It was different when we were in a tiny apartment & so far from all their friends.  Limits, patience, etc are being tested and we are having to stay on top of things big time.

Last night hubby & I hit the grocery store again (had to refill the larder after a weekend of teens) but since we have a few days to ourself, hopefully we won't have to go again for another couple of days (Just like you said Michelle, we seem to go about every other day sometimes).  We fixed a lovely baked cod dinner, did a few little chores, and then relaxed and watched some tv together.  Tonight will be a trip to home depot for a few things, another great dinner, and a few more little things around the house.  Have a great one!!

WOW!!!!!  Here it is after 12:30, and I am just finally caught up enough to sit and post.  You know how it is, when you take time off of work.  There is always lots just waiting for your return!!!!!!

Court, glad that you are making head-way in & out of your house.  Sounds like it is coming along pretty smoothly..... more smoothly than all of the stress just trying to get the keys of the house in your hand from the bank!!!!!

Michelle, sounds like your body is starting to respond to your vitamins, that is a good sign.
ANNNNNDDDDDD......  You have been SO DARN BUSY, that the breaks you have had this past week seem to be helping your mental health get a break too!!!  (I personally call that a 'brain-break')

Have I told you ladies how much I truely adore my in-laws??!!  They are just GREAT!!!!
Had a fabulous week off.  On Wednesday, we headed up the road 2 hours, and camped for 5 days.  It was SO NICE to just be with family, and enjoy.  Thursday evening, DH's sister, husband, and 2 girls came up and camped with us too.  So, there were 9 of us, total.  We had our camper, his sister had a tent, and the in-laws had my sister's motorhome.  Everyone had their own camp spot, so we just kind of 'rotated around'.
The Byers Lake Campground where we stayed has Over 324,200 Acres.... Yes, that figure is RIGHT!!!!  So, lots of trails, over 70 campsites.  You never feel like you are camped like 'sardines' there.
The weather was great.  It was hot, a little hazy from the wildfires, but not smoky smelling.  It would rain either late at night, after we were all tucked in for the evening, or early in the morning, like around 4 or 5.  Then, the days would be nice, so we would hang around, and walk to the lake, and on the trails alongside the lake.  Or just walk around the gravel road on the loops of campsites.  The first loop is Alder loop, the second loop is Birch loop, the third loop is Cranberry loop, and the fourth loop, which is where we all camped, is Dogwood loop.  We found a really nice lloooonnnggggg pull through spot, even though we have a truck with a cab-over-camper, with a 3 year old.... he just has lots more room to run around & be safe, without us having to feel like we had to keep a constant eagle eye on him, so, we knew, if he wanted to run around the truck, or whatever, he could go.  That makes it a no stress situation for the parents, and not having to yell at the child, too!!!  Everyone gets to enjoy MORE!!!  We brought Hunter's little Radio Flyer push cycle.  His legs a just a tad too short still for his trike, then, if he can't peddle, he gets SO FRUSTRATED, and then he cries.  so, he had fun with that, and, all of the other goodies/toys that we keep in the camper for him, for all of the camping trips...like his dumptruck, his bug catching net, and whatnot.  His cousins, both girls, one will be going into 4th grade, and the other into 7th grade, HAD A BLAST playing with him, so it was just awsome!!!!

OK, now that I have made up for not posting last week, have a good evening!!!!

Wow Court sounds like you really got a lot accomplished.   You have me beat we still have no pictures on the walls...of course that's cuz we still need to paint LOL.   Those darn kids have a tendancy to eat us out of house ane home all the time don't they?   My son told me one day it seems like we're at the grocery store every other day....I told him if he didn't eat so much we wouldn't be LOL.

Jamie...I hope your vacation and visit with the inlaws is going well!

We had a pretty uneventful but nice weekend.  Fri night I was exhausted so we stayed home...I went to bed early.   Sat I worked a bit then paid bills.   We did a bit of shopping.   DH decided he'd try to eat out for the first time since surgery...he had a bit of chicken and it all went well.   Nice to have him eating real food again.  We left Sadie home with her brother for a while and went for a drive just the 2 of us.  Sat evening we sat home and relaxed...i got Sadie's dresser cleaned out and organized.   Yesterday we went to church then I escaped by myself for a bit to shop.   Found some great deals for everyone...hey I even bought myself a couple of shirts.  I made chicken curry for dinner last night and just relaxed.   I feel much better today than I have for a long time...let's hope it stays.   This afternoon Sadie has dance class and then no other plans.

Have a good one!
