Thanks for sharing.  DH's parents are leaving tomorrow morning, so he will probably be getting the pictures off of the camera & on to a CD, then I will have newer one to share too.

I called DH about an hour ago, to see what he was doing with his parents today, and they were on their way to Wal-Mart to go & get pictures taken of Hunter!!

I pretty much knew it wasn't on the road systems because I've listened to them talk about flying in on small planes.   I'm thinking that in itself might deter me from wanting to go with LOL.   I guess I'll wait until they make another trip to the college that I was talking about before.   That's more my speed...hehehe.

Ok it's not so bad...I just dread thinking of the whole week ahead before having a day off again LOL.    We had a good weekend...got a lot accomplished here at home.   We took Sadie to the aquarium here in our city on Sat and had a great time there.   We got our pictures etc... unpacked and hung up finally LOL!    It feels so much more like home now.  Yesterday was church then we went to the mall for a bit...got hubby a few smaller shirts woohooo!   I had a meeting at church last night to evaluate our pastor for his first 6 months with us.   At one point yesterday afternoon I realized that I had forgotten the papers for the evaluation at church so ran over to get them.   On my way over there...about 8 blocks from home...I realized there were 7 police vehicles lining the street.   Wow I thought must be something going on.   Then I slowed down and looked around and realized that next to those vehicles were police kneeling down with guns drawn pointing them across the street.....LOL and there I was driving through the middle of it slowing down to check out what was going on.    A bit scary I must say!    I found out later it was a standoff...there was an arguement between neighbors and a gun drawn.   Nobody ended up hurt thank God.   So...that was my excitement for the weekend.  

Jamie,   I found out last night that our church is planning a missions trip next summer to AK but not the part I thought they were going to do.   They're going to Unalakleet...which from my understanding is pretty remote??    A few of them have gone before.   I doubt I'll get to come this time because with Sadie only being 3 we won't really be able to bring her.   They're going to go and work on a camp to help out and my huband has always wanted to do it since he first heard about it.   I think I will probably end up letting him go and I'll stay back with Sadie.   My son wants to go too....would be a great opportunity for the 2 of them to do together. 

We don't have much planned for the weekend at all.  Yesterday was good...we took Sadie to the baseball game and had a great time.  The fair is in town as well as a  blueberry festival nearby but I think we'll skip them both since the weather is supposed to be rainy.   I need to get to some things around the house plus need to do some shopping.   Sadie is outgrowing her clothes yet again and her shoes.   I have shoes put away that I got on clearance but they're still too big.   Oh darn I'll have to go shopping!

A guy from our church just got back from AK last week...he was talking a lot about seeing moose all over the place.   He even brought his wife back a pair of moose earrings.   He was up in Unalakleet.
