We're having drama with my oldest and maybe wanting to come back home. We're still not sure if she is or not. We've done the research and found a plane ticket etc... She's supposed to let my husband know if she wants to or not by the time he's done with work so if she does he can get the ball rolling. I took Monday off in case I need to go pick her up from the airport late on Sunday.
And this morning, I even cleaned up the kitchen for DH (his chore.. since we both work & I cannot "do it all") there is just a little bit left for him to wash that won't fit into the dishwasher, the crockpot & a big pan. Then, he has to finish washing up the stove... we're talking 20 minutes tops.... he has WAY more mess than that, before I got everything else washing & scrubbed up, cause, IT WAS JUST GROSS. *men*
I still get to go home & vaccume the entire house, but other than that, I think I will actually feel "caught up" and feel like the house is clean... YAY!!!!!
That's what I get for coming home the other night & not doing anything, but relaxing..... HA!!!
Tomorrow, DH is off of work & plans to process up the bear meat, and package it up into ground sausage (it's been in the freezer). So, we have meatloaf and a sausage cassarole (mixed with moose & bear) on the dinner list, mmmmmmmmm

More rain in the forcast for today, but maybe clearing up later in the weekend.
Have a GREAT day, ladies!!!!

Morning!!! Sounds like you all had great days planned yesterday. Hope they turned out well. My day was good. Work was slow & easy which was good but made for a long day. Had a friend come over to hang out for the night. We enjoyed a nice dinner, some decaf coffee on the porch to wind down the evening and then some tv time. Things were a bit crazy this a.m. and we ran a bit late but at least we are now off & running with our new day.
My plans for today include getting myself back on track. I have gained some weight and I want to get it back off. I intend to work on my diet, vitamins, water and exercise and put my tool to work. Not sure what the plan for the evening will be but we shall see. Have a great one!!
Started raining last night, and is still raining today. We need it to water the lawns, and there are some pretty good sized fires burning up north, so, hoefully, that will help them, with the much needed moisture. The rain is keeping the smoke down around here, too.
Not too sure what we have planned for tonight, I know we need to get in some grocery shopping, but other than that, just some rainy after work activities with Hunter.
Have a good afternoon, ladies!!!!

Good Morning!!! Michelle, you are crazy busy! A date, even a relaxing one sounds great. If the weather is good you could always do a relaxing picnic at the lake. A blanket, some yummy treats, a blanket & hubby.
My Tuesday was pretty good. Got through work, got home and pretty much did nothing. We all hung out on the porch as we were fixing dinner, after dinner & clean up we sat to watch some tv together. Then it was in to the bed. Today is work, a friend coming over this evening to hang out and that is about it. I do have a message into my surgeon's office to check on some abdominal pain I have been having for a little over a month. I think it might be a hernia. Of course the PA is out of town this week. I should probably follow up with someone else but I really am comfortable with her and since I have dealt with it for this long, what is another 5 days. Oh well.
Have a great day!!!
Thankfully we're at that halfway mark again! I have just 9 more hours to work today LOL. I'm trying to do another 11 hr day so I can work only 8 on Friday and be done at 2. I did get 11 in yesterday. That would then mean I only do 10 tomorrow. We have nothing going on tonight that I can think of so I should be able to do it. Next week is yet another week of mandatory OT...Uggghhhh I don't mind doing some but I hate it when they make it mandatory and slap on even more hours then normal. We've been on mandatory for over a month now. Next week is a busy week for me too so it'll prove interesting.
We had a good day yesterday. I did get to sneak in a nap. I worked 9 hrs took an hour nap...got supper started...worked another 2 hrs while my hubby and son managed to then burn the dinner I had cooking. We had a softball game at 9pm last night so didn't get to bed until about 11pm. Coffee is my friend this morning and I very very very rarely drink coffee.
It looks like our trip out of town this weekend is going to be put on hold for now. Gotta get the car fixed or at least figure out what is wrong before we take it anywhere. Oh well I don't mind so much. My son has been talked into babysitting Fri night so DH and I can get away...problem is figuring out what to do. His idea of something we should do is always much different than mine. By the end of this crazy week I'd probably much rather sleep LOL. He gets upset with me because I have such few interests and don't really go out much...I don'****ch tv or movies much, don't get a big thrill out of going to sporting events like he does etc... Well, if he was as busy as me he'd enjoy just sitting home and doing nothing too LOL. Of course I do look forward to spending time together and getting away without Sadie...it just proves interesting to figure out what we'll do. If the weather is good there's always walking by the lake and relaxing there. They have cool bikes to rent down there too...we did it last yr once and loved it! If we don't go it means I'll probably get to relax some at least. Soooo maybe it's a very very good thing LOL. Maybe I'll get to go over to check out the Extreme Home Makeover. Maybe he'll go with me Friday night even. They haven't opened it up for spectators yet....they removed the septic system yesterday and were going to demolish the house last night. I did flex my time on Monday to go over to be there when they move the bus and reveal the home. Only thing is if we have 10 hrs OT I might decide not to go....I'm thinking of begging myself out of the 10 hrs and just doing 5.
Well, it's off to work away and try to sneak in a nap again today. Have a good one!
Court, glad you had some one on one time with DH on your drive this morning. That is always nice to have that. Sometimes that one on one is few & far in between. DH & I need to get a "date-night" SCHEDULED in to get that one on one... having a 3 year old & all.
Not too much planned for today.

Good Morning! I survived my Monday also but barely. Work was just crazy yesterday for some reason. I was so ready to get out when 5 o'clock came. Got home to a tired and upset teen. She is doing football manager this year for school and after being out in the heat all day she was exhausted, add to that some boy issues and we have MELT DOWN! Of course within an hour her daddy had cheered her up, she was already talking about a new boy, and of course she conned her daddy into taking her to the store to buy her something (always a pick me up for her). I hit the bed early and feel refreshed today.
It was a crazy morning as we all got up & ready to head out the door this a.m. Hubby & I rode in together this a.m. so we had some bonding time. Not much planned for tonight.. The daughter will be fixing dinner, we do have some stuff around the house that needs to be done of course but there are some things on tv that we want to watch tonight so we shall see what happens.
Michelle, how in the world can you work so many hours but go to a 9 p.m. softball game, when do you sleep?
Jaime, time with friends is awesome, manly hubby providing food is awesome!!!
Well, we made it through another Monday! I'm a bit sleepy this morning. We had a pretty good day yesterday. I got my 10 hrs of work in and didn't struggle too much. Sadie and I went to watch daddy play in his bocce ball playoffs for a bit. They won both times last night so they play again next week. We then went to a friend's house for a bbq/campfire. It was supposed to be a get together for the young adults of our church....to our church young adults are college age, 20's and maybe some early 30s. LOL I'm almost 40 but they asked us to come. I think they just want the entertainment of Sadie LOL. We had a great time. Didn't get hom til much later than I wanted but it was hard to pull myself away.
I want to take a drive over to check out the Extreme Home Makeover site. They had the family on the news this morning. Of course they aren't giving away any more info than they have to or we won't tune in to watch the show when it airs.
My brother in law is supposed to come take my car for a drive today to see if he can tell what's wrong with it and if he'll be able to fix it at all. He said he'll try but it all depends on what it is. I'd much rather give him some money to do it. Thankfully he starts school this month to officially become an auto technician.
So, for today it's another 10 hours or work or maybe more if I can handle it then at 9pm we have a church softball game. I think I'll try to get a bit of a nap in there somewhere LOL. That's all she wrote for today. Have a great one!
