I'm barely awake today.   We had a great weekend and I'm having a hard time waking up and getting a start today.   We had a lot of fun with my niece, her family, and my nephew this weekend.   My sisters were all busy most of the weekend so we only saw them for a couple of hours yesterday.   Sadie had a blast playing with my neice's 5 and 2 yr old boys.   We enjoyed ourselves being away as well. 

Today is the big reveal for the home makeover house.....we're heading out there after I work 1/2 day.   Sadie, my son, his friend, and our pastor's son are all coming with me.   The news now is that this is going to be a 2 hr special for the season premiere.   So we only have to wait a few weeks to see it.   It's looking great...can't wait to get out there today to check it out.

I know, I know.... Hunter's b-day was back in May..... We had the camcorder going, and did not click any actual pictures!!??!!
Luckily, my sister did... Had to "borrow" her camera, so we could get them off of her memory card... then, we had problemd loading the 5 pictures out of the folder we created onto another set of current pictures we took.... to get them all together, to burn onto one DISC was sucky, but, after 3 hours... I figured it ot, so, here ya go.....

I too am glad it is Friday!!!  I can't believe how slow this week has been.  Yesterday was pretty good for me.  After work I headed home, grabbed a snack, changed clothes, started the dishwasher and a load of clothes, and headed out to the yard to help hubby.  I grabbed the push mower and got in a good little workout.  After that it was a quick shower and then dinner.  I managed to stay awake long enough to watch a bit of the yankees game with my hubby then it was off to bed for me.

Today started off weird, daughter running late, etc.  I actually got to work 30 minutes early, decided to go take a nice walk in the cemetary next door and my flip flop broke.  Guess I am going shopping at lunch time.  Not too much planned for the weekend.  We are treating ourselves to dinner at a nice seafood restaurant tonight after a long hard week, daughter has football tomorrow, probably some house stuff, continued work on the fence and maybe some guests on Sunday.  Have a great one!!

Wow this has been one long week!   But oh well it's over now.   I can't wait for 2pm to get here.  DH and I are both done with work at 2pm today.  I'm going to take my lunch break to run to pick up pictures we had printed and to gas up the car.  We'll make a quick stop at the ATM to get some cash and then we're on our way out of here for the weekend.   Everything worked out so we're going to be able to go.  Tonight the plan is to get there and check out the MN Vikings practice for a bit then check into the hotel and do some relaxing and swimming.   Tomorrow morning is mostly just relaxing.  I think the practice starts around noon tomorrow but I think Sadie and I will be skipping that.   We'll either head to the mall....go find a park...hang with my niece and her kids....swim...or maybe a combination of all that.   I need to get my 2 yr old great nephew a gift still.   I got my 5 yr old one yesterday.   Sat night my niece, her husband, their boys, and my nephew will all be coming to hang out with us.   Sunday we're going to get up and check out of the hotel...probably find a church.   The party is at 2 so we'll probably find some lunch somewhere and then go to the birthday party before heading home.  It should be a great weekend.   We found a hotel that has a 2 bedroom suite....2 queen beds and a pull out sofa, full kitchen etc... for about $90 a night.  My niece says it's one of the nicer hotels in town too. 

Monday I am only working 4 hrs then it's off to the big reveal of the Home Makeover house!!   I will be there when they shoot the Move that Bus scene.   Hmmmm maybe we'll even make it on tv.   I heard on the radio this morning that this will be the season premiere episode and will be 2 hrs long.   WooHooo...now just gotta talk DH into tivo or something LOL.   My son, Sadie, and our pastor's son are coming with me on Monday.   I heard the outside is pretty much done and today they move in the appliances and start the drywalling etc...

this is about where they were when we left...sorry it's hard to see but those lights were really bright.   This was about 9:30pm...we got there at 8pm...only took about 45 mins to get this far.
