Happy Early Birthday! Sounds like you have wonderful plans. And is sounds like you have had a great time off from work. Things are going well here. A bit crazy as we adjust to the new school year, getting back on track, etc. My poor hubby is suffering a bit as he deals with the teenage attitude problems. Working on planning some things for the weekend, we shall see where that goes. Have a great one!

Topic: Halfway there

Well, it is Wednesday today but I'm sad....it's my last day off LOL. I've enjoyed my time off work even though we didn't get much done. Today we are hoping to meet with our pastor quick then not sure what we'll do from there. We are hoping to be able to go to the animal shelter and pick up our newest member to the family, Lipton, a big old Beagle. Hopefully he's still there. I'm waiting on the school to call about my son as well. Trying to figure things out for him for this school year. I need to go find my sister a birthday present...my bday is Sat and hers is Sun and she's coming here for the weekend to celebrate. We're having a girls weekend so even though it's right here in town I'm going to stay at the hotel with them all Sat night.

Well it's late again but better late than never right. We had a really good day today. Had my EMG done....went well..wasn't too terrible. He did see carpal tunnel and the beginnings of diabetic neuropathy. I go back to the other Dr Monday to go over the results and see if or when is more like it I will have surgery. One had hurts more than the other but the test showed both are about the same. After that we went home picked up the kids and went for lunch...took my son up to do something with his phone then decided to stop at the animal shelter to peek at dogs...ohhhh my son fell in love with a big fat lazy beagle named Lipton. He's begging and even took out his money and gave it to us to pay for it LOL. We'll see but we may end up back there again tomorrow. It was a good day spent as a family that's for sure. Came home and made a cake...cut up melon and am waiting for the cake to cool so I can frost it. We have a softball game and picnic in about an hour. It's turning out to be a pretty good vacation!

Court, just keep plugging along with your day at work... soon it will be over and you will be school supply shopping.

Michelle, hope your test today goes well. Those are never fun. Testing your nerves, right (Nerve Conduction Study, or something like that?)
But I am glad you had such a great weekend!!!!

Sounds like you ladies are enjoying life. Things are good here. I am still dragging a bit though. Made it in to work and now pushing myself to make it the whole day. The girlies survived the first day of school, of course one loved it and one tolerated it. We have them tonight so hubby will be taking the youngest to soccer practice and I will be taking the oldest to the store for school supplies now that she knows what is required. Not much else of anything planned. Hope you all have a great one!!

It's 4:30 and I'm getting around the computer for the first time today. We had a fun weekend...had a great time as girls day out Sat. Was away this morning at the Dr for my carpal tunnel. I have an appt for an EMG tomorrow morning and another appt with the Dr Monday morning. He's pretty sure I need surgery but wants to see the results of the EMG first. Looking like Sept or Oct for surgery. So some of my time off will be spent at the doctors. Oh well soon my hands will be better. Going ot play some tennis tonight with dh. Other than that just some relaxing.

Court, hope the girlies are having an AWSOME first day of school!!!!

Since Michelle has time off, I don't think she will be posting much ==== hopefully she is away from the computer, enjoying herself!!!!

Camping was GREAT!!!! Glad we went. Because, now.... "officially" I am a hunting widow. DH left to go get his camp set up, cause it is opening day of rifle season tomorrow & he will be out hunting at just before light.

Just another Monday here, other than that. Things are going well.

Topic: Happy Monday!

I can't believe I am so late posting today. I was up and out the door early for my CT scan (think I have a hernia) and then intended to head in to work for a bit for staff meeting. Ended up feeling kind of cruddy so I came on home and climbed in the bed. Actually just woke up.

Hope you all had a good weekend. Michelle, how is that time off feeling? Jaime, how was camping? My weekend was good. Actually stayed home all weekend and got quite a bit accomplished. Even worked on painting the fence until we ran out of paint. The weather was so gorgeous yesterday. Not too much planned for tonight. I think hubby and I are both worn out so after a good dinner, perhaps a walk, we will probably just chill and head the bed early. The girlies started school today so I can't wait to hear how it all went. Have a great one!

We have some plans for this weekend.... since I will be a "hunting widow" starting Monday night.

Tomorrow, DH is working, and I have a sitter coming for a few hours so I can go get my pap smear... fun, fun.
But, tomorrow night, we will be going on an overnight camping trip
Hopefully it will not pour down rain on us.... a little is in the forcast for Sunday, but we will be coming home at some point from camping.

Sounds like you have a lot of fun stuff planned. Enjoy it. Not too much going on here. Nice evening last night. Still not enough sleep though. Tonight will be stuff around the house, not sure if that will be inside or outside, depends on if it rains. Tomorrow is more around the house for me, again weather will play a factor in what I do. A quick appearance at a soccer function, a grad party will finish out the day. Sunday is a Nats game with my hubby. Have a great weekend!!!
