Must of been in the moon or something last night as I had a sour evening also.  To top it off, the oldest wasn't done with football til 11:30 so we were not home & in bed til midnight.  I am definitely grumpy today.  Plan to stick to myself in order to save others from my bad mood.

I have been working on getting back on track, I had gained 20 lbs.  Definitely an issue of not eating right and not exercising right.  It is a challenge to get myself back where I need to be but I am working on it.  Down 2 lbs so far!!

Hope today is better for us all and that we have a great one!!

Well, my day ended on a litte more of a sour note than it started but all will work out.   DH got new child support papers in the evening served to him.   The amount is about double what he was paying.   They do not have on there that we are supplying her medical and dental which we have been all along.   They also do not have on them that he has another child to support (Sadie).   Hopefully a phone call today will get some things straightened out.   We both were stressed about it last night but we know there's nothing we can do.   It's out of our control....a quick prayer is about it.   Didn't sleep real well either that darn dog was up barking at the cats all night.   Just like kids I tell ya.   I finally got up and brought the dog into our room and shut the door so he couldn't see the cats LOL.   Of course here I am awake and ready for my day....well kind of awake....and he's still snoring away.   Got 10 hrs in yesterday for work and hoping to get another 9 or maybe 10 in today.   I only have 2 more hours of OT to do this week so if I can get it done today the rest of the week is smooth sailing.   I'm struggling with eating right as always...arggg it's just a never ending battle.   We didn't get out to exercise last night either as Sadie was being a stinker so we didn't dare give in and take her out to do something fun.  I suppose I will have to do twice as much today.   Tomorrow Sadie starts dance class and I will not let our new financial woes interfere with that one thing we do for her that she enjoys so much.    Well, have a good one everyone...it's time to get to work!

Sounds like you girls had a good weekend, that is GREAT!!!

I did get lots of relaxatiobtime in, myself... but, yesterday, I did "crack the whip" .... IT HAD TO BE DONE!!!

That shed of ours, was a "dumping ground" and needed to be addresseed.... BADLY.  So, I went in there, & straightened things out, so that there were "dedicated spaces"
Then, I let DH knoe -- In no uncertin terms -- that, since thre rest of the pile of boxes were his, that had not been touched for the most part, since we moved over a year and a hla*****hat his CHOR was to go through those little bit of boxes that were left, and:
a) find a "home" for the items to live.... ORGANIZED"
b) sort through them/separate the keep from the YARD SALE pile

**I mean, come on, winter, and snow ill be on the ground in 6 weeks... NO JOKE, ""Time for him to get that project done & over with.**  I had 3/4 of the rest all moved around, so he had (floorspace) ... LOTS OF IT, to sort, and organize a bit.

{I made a point of re-arranging so much in that shed, so that he could that}

((((####****** Cause come winter, I may as well through up my hands & FORGET ABOUT the shed until spring********####)))))

So, my labor day went it to a project with my heart and hands.  And, I know, when DH gets his (maximum 15 boxes... nothing organized... just a bunch of mish-mash, odds & ends to stuff) boxes in the shed gone through, HE will have a happier winter, without the """"project"""" that he **never** got around to doing.... all done... he will know what is oout there & how to walk in there & get whatever he needs to get.

Why, girls, do you ask.... are we building on another yard sale?  Why, yes, WE ARE!!!!
Probably not next spring, maybe the folloing spring.....

Yup, I took the word LABOR, very serious!!!!

Definitely sounds like you had a marvelous time.  Had a great weekend myself.  Worked on painting the girlies bathroom on Friday & Saturday, then decided to do the masterbath also so worked on that Sunday.  Took my time and did things at my own pace, took time for other things too.  Fixed a special dinner on Friday, hit the first football game of the season at the highschool, Saturday night was dinner and some errands with hubby, Sunday we did end up with some plumbing problems after trying to put the girlies bath back together so we got that fixed & ended up ordering dinner in.  Monday we did the finishing touches on the bathrooms, went out for lunch & a movie, the grocery store and then home for a wonderful meal cooked by my brother in law.  I was so not ready to get up for work today.  Not much planned for today, quiet in the office so hopefully I will get a lot done.  Supposed to have soccer and football tonight but it yucky rainy so we shall see what happens.

Have a great day!!!!

I love the fact that the work week is starting and it's Tuesday not Monday!   We had an awesome long weekend.  I was sitting last night thinking of what all we did and couldn't even remember Fri or Sat had to ask DH LOL.   That's because we spent a lot of that time cleaning, grocery shopping, and cooking.   We did manage to spend time outside Sat...some of the time was mowing lawn and weedeating but oh well it was outside and the weather was gorgeous all weekend.   We took Sadie and the dog to play tennis Sat night as well.   We all had a great time.  Sunday we hosted the family bbq.  It was a big success and a great time.  My husband's aunt and uncle who just moved back to MN from NE were here.   I love those two.   So excited to have them close enough to see once in a while now.  We played lawn games and jus****ched Sadie entertain us.   After most people left my sister in law and her fiance stayed and we planed Disney Scene IT.   After they left DH, my son, and I played some more games until about midnight.    It was lots of fun doing that together for a change.  My oldest sister left her hubby on Sun and has parked a lot of her belongings in one of our garages until she finds an apt.   Yesterday we got up and headed the 20 miles to the small town my mother in law lives in.   We took Sadie to the parade.   She loved it!   Chasing all that candy was great fun LOL.   We spent a little time there visiting grandma afterwards.   We stopped then for lunch at the old fashioned hamburger place...it closes for the fall and winter....for one last burger of the summer.   DH's aunt and uncle...same ones that just moved from NE....happened to be there as well.   We sat and had lunch with them.   It was a lot of fun.   We started planning a weekend next month to go visit them.  My son took Sadie for a bike ride last night while DH and I got laundry folded.   We spent the evening as just the 4 of us relaxing.   What a great weekend!!

I hope you all had a great one too!

Michelle, even though you willbe the host of your family get-together..... Isn't it SO NICE to have the bigger house to do it in??!!??  I know that there is alot of work that goes into hosting the family-thing.... but, it gives me PRIDE and SATISFACTION to know that there is enough space for everyone!!!
Your and DH hosting a young families support group is AWSOME!!!!  And, yes, it will all come together!!  You are right on that.

Court, glad you got ahead of some of the prep work for painting the bathroom.  I think that the prep work is the most difficult!!!  But, that's just me.  Now that you have been moved in for a bit, how is your house coming together???? (painting project aside)

Sounds like my DH will be coming home today... empty handed.  He goes back to work on Sunday.  I am sure on hs day off, here & there, he will be out hunting, locally.  I think that I was MORE disappointed than he was last night, about no moose yet!!!  EVERY year, he has gotten a moose, since I have known him, like 7 years!!  So, this is new for me.  But..... moose hunting season IS NOT OVER YET!!!!!!

Have a wonderful 3-day weekend, ladies!!!

Sounds like you will be having a wonderful weekend Michelle!  Baked beans, pasta salad, corn on the cob, chips, watermelon are all yummy things to have with burgers.

After getting home last night I worked on prepping the bathroom for the paint.  Hubby did dinner so I didn't feel rushed or pressured to get things done.  I am painting the girlies bathroom and the walls will be 5 different colors so it will probably take me at least 2 days to get it all done with the cutting in etc.  I am excited about how nice it will look though.  Was up early today to take the girlies to school and ran a few errands.  Now I am back home with my paint clothes on, gotta turn the music on and I am ready to start.  May tackle some other small projects this weekend depending on how the painting goes but plan to take some time to relax too.  Hope you all have a safe and happy weekend!!!

Thankfully there's no more teasing!   It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!   And a long weekend at that.   I'm tired and having a hard time thinking that I have 10 hrs to go til this work day is over.   Oh but to think it's 3 off instead of 2 after it's over sure helps.

Last night since it was just Sadie and I we ran to McDonald's drive through and got her chicken nuggets, apples, and chocolate milk.   We then went across the street to the park and had a little picnic.  We had  blast.  We then ran to Walmart to get a few things we needed...forgot the bread...woops!   After Walmart we came home, took the dog out, brushed him, and played in the yard.  We came inside cleaned up Sadie's bedroom together.....got cleaned up and just relaxed watching Wow Wow Wubsy.    We had  a very good night together.

Tonight is who knows...maybe grocery shopping or maybe cleaning.   We found out yesterday that we're hosting the family bbq on Sunday.   Nice......now I have to clean LOL.   My husband's aunt and uncle will be coming, his dad, dad's girlfriend, girlfriend's daughter and family, his sister and her family and my sister and her friends will be around as well.  I have no clue what to make.   Any good ideas?   I'm thinking burgers on the grill maybe but I need some ideas for sides.   I'm tired of the same old potatoe salad.  Oh yes and the biggest reason it's at our house is because Grandma Ruth wants to come and we're the only ones with a big enough house that has the bathroom on the main floor. (in our case...on the only floor)

We also have to get organized big time this weekend.   DH and I are starting up a young families support group at our church and the first meeting is 2 wks from tomorrow.   We have no name for the group yet.   We have no plans for what we'll do yet LOL.   I need to shop for snacks etc... for the kids.  Oh and make posters for advertisements.  It WILL all come together LOL.

Monday I am relaxing...hopefully we can get in a bike ride even.   Wow I'll need that extra day just to relax.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Court....enjoy your long weekend!   If you need more to paint you're always welcome here LOL.

Jamie......shhhhhhh that S word is a naughty word.    I'm dreading winter big time.

Nothing exciting going on here.   Just about done with my 10 hrs of work for today.   Sadie and I are on our own tonight.   DH is at a football game and my son went out of town with his friend's family.  I think Sadie will get McDonald's tonight LOL.   We have a bit of Walmart shopping to do then we'll be just hanging out at home together.   I'm being naughty and skipping church but I need some time to just relax.   Looking forward to the long weekend!
