As a matter of fact... I, myself am doing a PartyLite book party at work. I did one 2 years ago at this time & did rather well. It will close the middle of next month, so I should still have people at work looking through all of the books & smelling the sample scents. With the permant fund dividend coming out next Thursday, lots of people do Christmas shopping & a little 'splurge' too. I was looking through the catalog last night, checking out the new candles. I have enough holders.... because I have a 3 year old.. I LIMIT myself to one aroma melts holder, high up on a bookcase in the livingroom & then I have 2 wall mounted ones as well.
DH is talking about going camping this coming weekend... it will be our last trip for the year. I watched the weather forcast last night & it is mid 40's during the day & mid-to-high 30's at night. That's just the forecast.... weather up here can be hard to predict, especially, since it froze 2-3 times overnight last week.
Have a GREAT day, ladies!!

Ugh fundraisers, we have been slammed with them, had to do one for school, one for soccer, all my school aged nieces & nephews had them and hit me up. I am broke now, lol!
I decided I better post early or I might not ever get a chance today. I have training again. Last night was a nice relaxing evening. I did balance my checkbook and pay bills but otherwise I just sat and watched tv. DH even took care of dinner. Today is the training and a little more work then Sadie has school tonight. I have to find some time to organize her fundraiser before tomorrow so I can turn it in and pay for it all. That's all that's on the agenda. Hope you all have a great day!
We had a good weekend. Fri night we went to the high school football game....ended up in the pouring rain for a bit LOL. Sat we went to a couple of garage sales...then we went to my cousin's boys' hockey games. Yesterday was church, nap, and then the home makeover premiere showing. I had a great time....the family was thre as well...it was so cool to sit with them to watch it. Jamie, I'm sure there'll be a rerun of it at some point. If I hear of it I'll let you know. I'd like to see it sometime again too.
Court, I hope you get some rest, so you can feel better!!!
Michelle, I missed the Extreme Makeover show last night, I was busy taking my gramma back over to my sisters!! So, I hope I can catch a re-run, someday!!
Been very busy here. Lots of family stuff & then.... with the snow coming down the mountains.... we have been trying to get our projects done, before the snow falls.
Temps have been dipping below the freezing mark every-other-night, so we are just BUSY. It's the way that it goes here.
Losing over 30 minutes of daylight every week. Average of 5 minutes, 30 seconds daily. So, on Monday mornings, after the weekend.. I can really tell the difference, with the lack of light.
My gramma came over and stayed the weekend with us at our house, and I took her back over to my sister last night, to help out over there for the week. Hard to believe that baby Jordan is already a week old!! WOW!!
Have a good day, ladies!!!

I'm only working 9 hrs today. ONLY??? Since when did I say only 9 hrs? Well, I'm going to save 2 of my 11 hrs to do sometime tomorrow. Just don't have the energy to do it today. DH is planning on taking Sadie to the football game tonight. I'm on the fence as to if I'm going with or staying home on my own....will probably depend on what my son is doing. If I can really stay home all alone that is my answer LOL. I also enjoy watching Sadie with the cheerleaders though...and a girl from our church is a cheerleader so she'll get to talk to them even. She loves her dance and cheerleaders. Tomorrow is a lazy day...laundry and cleaning I'm sure but nothing else on the agenda really. Sunday is the Home makeover viewing. I'm excited to see what the inside of the house looks like.
We got to meet the new baby last night. What a sweet thing!! Soooo tiny but sooo cute.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Morning! We had a great time at the baseball game last night. Really enjoyed the family time. Unfortunately I am not feeling any better. Waiting for the rest of the staff to get into the office & then I will be headed back home. We have a slammed packed weekend, soccer practice, football, soccer game, and 2 maybe 3 family bday parties, thus part of the reason I want to go home now. I am so not in to this today.
Between new babies, dance classes, day care fun, Extreme Makeovers, church, and such sounds like you both are just hopping. Hope you both have a great weekend.
Court, hope you long day goes fast & you feel better, not worse!!
Michelle, glad you are feeling better!! Too bad you get to play catch-up!!
Today we are having a baby shower for a co-worker. Should be fun/busy. DH is picking up my gramma on his way home from work & taking her to my sister's house so she can help out my sister.
Had a good evening last night. Ended up staying over at daycare for 2 more hours. Ever since school started, both of Hunter's older friends have started school & all 3 of them having been having to transistion. Hunter used to follow the older kids around, and, now, he is the older kid that gets followed around, and he is having a hard time transisitioning to being in the "leader" role. So, one of his friends got picked up from the bus & was just getting there, as I was trying to leave & I was invited to stey. So, I let Hunter play with his friend. He has only seen her one other time since school has started. So, I hope that last night helped him out.
Have a GREAT day!!!

Soooo....if you guys want to see a bit of the part of the country I'm living in, Sunday is the day. The premiere show for Extreme Makeover Home Edition is the house built here this summer. It's actually in Wisconsin wichis right over the bridge from me.....this house is probably about 20 miles from mine. They did tape in our city as well since both Duluth MN and Superior WI pulled together to make this happen. It's a 2 hr special. I was invited to go with my girlfriend to the big premiere viewing party here at our convention center. My hubby is keeping Sadie. Should be a fun time. I have a couple of other friends going as well.
On a side note....Sadie was much better yesterday....still a 2 yr old but not as mischevious. She was a good girl at dance and got a sticker even. She and daddy went for a bike ride and daddy wiped out...fell off his bike....ahhh he's ok but she got scared and they had to walk the rest of the way home.
I found out yesterday that next week I will be in training learning coordination of benefits for work. Ughhhhh something new to learn LOL. My training will be Mon-Fri 8am to 1pm. Not too bad. Also next week is my last week of my 5:30am-2pm shift. The week after I start 5:30am-4pm Mon, Tues, Thur, and Fri. The only way I have to work on Wednesdays is if I do OT that day. If I don't like it I can switch back.
Sorry I feel like I wrote a book today hehehe. Everyone have a great Thursday!
