Don't ask how I managed to not post yesterday when I was home & spent half the day on the computer.  Guess I had a blonde moment, lol.  So how are you guys doing?  Sounds like you both had wonderful busy weekends.  Doing good here.  Had a few busy times over the weekend but also had some relaxing time too.  Actually ended up being lazy most of the day yesterday so that was nice.  Not too much going on here today.  Work of course then home.  We have the girlies so hubby will do soccer, I will get the oldest & do dinner.  :)

Well...not sure if it's really terrific or not but hey at least it's not Monday any more.   I'm sure after 10:30am I'll think it's terrific.   I'm only working 5 hrs today so that's when I'll be off and will be off til Thursaday....Wednesdays are my day off now days.   My husband took the whole day today and part of tomorrow as well so we can go spend some time with his grandfather.   His sister was there yesterday and had to experience first hand how close the end is for him.   Luke's aunt told him last night she really doubts he'll be around for the weekend.   We decided we better just take some time and go.  I offered to go last night but he said he was ok if he didn't make it through the night he had seen him on Friday and had a great memory from that.  We are taking Sadie with this morning so he can see her one last time.   Not sure if he will really know what's going on or not...he was alert quite a bit of the time though so hopefully.   They've had to give him quite  bit of morphine though to keep him comfortable.  What a life though....almost 94 yrs old and so many many kids, grandkids, and great grandkids that love him!!!   We talked about it last night and said even though we're sad...this is a very very great reason to celebrate.   It's tough for my husband his grandpa is like his dad...he spent much of his childhood at his grandparents house as mom was only 16 when she had him.  He also is the only man is my husband's life who had the christian influence on him....he really really looks up to grandpa and thanks him for where he is in life today.    So that's most of our day....but tonight Sadie has her school so that's always exciting.

Last night we just hung out at home relaxing...got some Chinese for supper...and watched the Vikings kick some butt on the Packers.   It's a huge huge rivalry here being so close to the WI border anyway but then you add Brett Favre into the mix and it makes it even more so.

Well, I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!

Michelle...... WOW..... you had alot going on this weekend.  Glad you got to see DH's g'pa.  Hope he sticks around much longer than the doctors think, just so he can prove them wrong, lol
And, I am glad that you were well enough to go & see that precious little baby!!  How cool is that?!  AND...... I just do not understand how you pastor could be so hurtful.  But, I am glad you have ameeting to discuss this with him, so there will be closure, and you will be able to move onbecause, that is important.  In my eyes... people make up the chruch, yes, the pastor is there, to guide but if there were no people.... (I hope you understand my thoughts.....)  I know you and your family are very involved & will continue to involved with your church.

Court, hope your weekend was good!!!!!

Unfortunately, camping just was not in the weather plans this weekend................ it POURED!!!!!!  Don't get me wrong, I love to camp, but, who want to be "stuck" in the camper becuase it is 40 degrees & pouring down rain??  We are taking the camper in tomorrow or wednesday (They are closed today) to get it winterized... but we will go out on an overnight trip friday... if the weather is OK.... just will haul what little water we will use.  That is the tentative plan, anyways.

Thurs &Fri last weeek was very busy... training a "back-up, back-up".  My back-up is currently out on vacation for 3 weeks, on the East coast.  But, since cold & flu season is on our heels... it is good to have someone else who can fill in for me, if I, or Hunter end up having to stay at home for the day.

Take Care
-Jamie

Topic: It's Monday Again
Why does Monday always seem to come so fast?   I'm up and somewhat ready to go.   Today I start my new schedule of 4 ten hr shifts with Wed off.   Can't wait for Wed LOL.   We had a very busy weekend here.   Starting with picking up my 2 nieces Fri afternoon for the weekend...will be bringing them home this evening.  We spent some time with DH's grandpa Fri night.   He was so alert and his memory was wonderful.   He joked with us and was just overall happy to see us there to see him.  Glad we at least had one more time to have a great visit.   Drs still think he only has a matter of days but who knows.   We are planning on taking time Wed afternoon to head up there to visit.   We'll bring Sadie with this time so he can see her.  We're just enjoying every moment we have left with him.   On the opposite end of the spectrum I got to spend the day with our friends that have the new baby yesterday.   I think I sat just holding her and looking at her for like 2 hrs straight.   How amazing a little baby is.   As of last Sunday I am no longer a part of our church's leadership team....it's time for a new set of people to move in so we all stepped back.   We are all very hurt as our pastor did a sermon yesterday about church leadership and some of the things he said and ahd in his slides seemed to be very hurtful to those of us who have worked so hard in the last couple of years.   He said we were immature, disconnected, etc... so I have a meeting tonight to discuss this.   Other than that it's just driving the nieces back to my sister.   Hopefully today goes by quickly.

Jamie, how was camping?   Court, hope you got time to relax and enjoyed your weekend!

OMG it's 2pm already!!   I haven't even had a lunch break yet today and started at 5:30am.   I'm done for the day I've had it LOL.    Training is over now the fun begins as I try to muddle my way through actually processing the claims.  OH well I don't have to worry about that til Monday right?
My nieces are coming to stay with us til Monday afternoon.   I have to leave here at 3 to go pick them up.  Sadie will love having her big cousins here to play with.    We were planning a really fun weekend with them but just got some really sad news....my husband's 93 yr old grandfather is not doing well...the Dr's don't expect him to make it much longer...at the most a week.   Now to understand how hard this is on our family ....his grandparents were like parents to him...he's so much closer to them than he is to his parents.   And even though grandparents aren't supposed to have favorites they did and he was it!    Even the rest of the family said that at his grandmother's funeral 8 yrs ago.   It's so sad...DH is still at work and wants to wait til tomorrow to go see him but I have talked to my son and he's coming home to sit with the girls tonight so I can take him up there to spend a little time with him.   I just love this old guy....he's the sweetest old man I've ever met!    So...if I"m not around as much next week that wlll probably be the reason....once he passes on I will be taking my funeral leave as well as hubby just to be there to support him as well as to let myself grieve.

Have fun camping Jamie....none here this weekend fall has definitely hit it's about 40 degrees...rainy and cold.    Court have fun with the friends and family and get some much deserved rest.

Well I got my body rub & early to bed last night.  I felt nice & refresed this a.m.  I am so ready for the work week to be over & my weekend to start.  Nothing really planned, a few thoughts on things we might do with friends/family and some relaxation stuff in there too.  I can't wait.

Jaime, enjoy that camping trip.  MIchelle, enjoy the rest from training!!

Hope you all have a great one.

Well looks like I wasn't the only one to have a slammed busy day.  I got to work & didn't stop til I left.  I am so glad I don't have too many days like that.  Grocery store, a bit of laundry and dinner were all on the plate for tonight.  Now I am feeling droopy and done.  Think I will ask hubby for a body rub and hit the bed early.  Hope you all had a great day!!!

Michelle, not sure how you survive having kids on both ends of the age spectrum.  I think I would go nuts, thus part of the reason hubby & I will not be starting over.

Jaime, I usually have 2 Partylite parties a year, one in late spring and one in fall, usually do pretty well and love my candles.  We actually have so many holders, etc.  I still haven't even decided where to put them all in the new house.  Working on my fall party now, I will be having it in the beginning of November.

Had a decent night last night.  The men fixed dinner so I was able to do a few little chores around the house.  Still didn't get to bed as early as I wanted but I guess I will get rest some time in my future.  Having the girlies over tonight instead of tomorrow so I am not sure what the evening will have in store for us.  Hope you guys have a great one!

Thank God this training is about half over.   Only problem is I'm scared for Monday when I have to actually start to process this stuff LOL.   I'm sure I"ll be fine but it might be a couple frustrating months until I figure it out and get down a routine for it.
Had a good evening last night....got some new food for the dog...he hates it and never ate any of it last night.   He has allergies and the food we had boughten was making it worse.  He seems to be itching less since we got this yesterday but the poor thing has to be hungry.  We then picked hubby up from work and grabbed some dinner.   Sadie had her school class so we went there and she loved it.   She missed that so much this summer.  Came home and the light in my office was burnt out...of course it's not a normal light bulb so I had to then run out and get one.  I finally got back...got the fundraiser stuff organized and ready to turn in.   Was in bed by about 10pm.  Then the cat and dog started....cat hid under the bed and attacked when the dog got close...dog jumped into bed with me arggggggg   we never thought he could even get up there.   Off and on all night the dog was growling and would bark here and there.   Hubby put him out at about 1am and forgot him outside...LOL I woke up to him barking at 2.   He was very happy to see me.   It was a very short night but oh well I'll live through the day somehow.
Tonight DH starts his pool league.   I will be home with Sadie and my son (since he can't do what he's asked he's not leaving the house)....I'll probably work for a couple of hours.  Sadie does have dance classt this afternoon though.   I'm looking forward to an evening at home.

Hope you all have a great Wednesday!
