Morning!   Had a nice relaxing night last night.   Made a pot of chili, watched tv and crawled into bed a bit early.  Sadie has her school class tonight other than that nothing planned....and I am off tomorrow.   I need to get lots accomplished tomorrow.

Got terrible news yesterday...first a 4th grade teacher from our neighborhood school did on Fri...no idea what happened to her until an autopsy comes bakk.   My oldest had her as a teacher for 3rd grade.   She was only like 50 yrs old.   Then a coworker of mine died over the weekend at the age of 35..   Wow way too young for them both.   Not sure but the work one may be H1N1...glad I don't work in the office.   Kinda depressing....the human resources dept is in the office today to answer questions.

Hopefully today goes well for everyone!

Good Morning!  Hope you all had a great day yesterday.  Mine was pretty good.  We finally got the fence completely painted so now I can have my house warming party.  I am soooo excited to show off my new home.  Did way too much yesterday on my holiday off so tonight I plan to veg out with my hubby and enjoy some alone time.  I can't wait.  Have a great one.

Morning ladies!  Took the opportunity to sleep in after my busy weekend.  Ended up with my niece in addition to the nephews on Friday and then the boys decided to stay on Saturday too.  Boy was my weekend slam packed & exhausting.  But it was so much fun.  I so enjoy having the little ones and the cuddles and funny things they say & do.  The boys have been having some stress at home as their mommy & daddy have been having some marriage issues and I love being able to give the whole family a bit of a break.  My niece actually had a stressful week as they had some issues with their teenager this week so it was nice to give her a bit of a break also.  We have our "boys" today as they didn't have school and wanted to come over & my girlies are home sick (the crud that is going around and some exhaustion, perhaps a bit of jealousy that the boys are here).  I believe  we will be having a quiet day at home doing stuff around the house.

Michelle, I hope hubby is  doing well and you all  get a chance for a break.

Jaime, I concur with Michelle, we are here for you wether you are in a good mood or bad.  We love you!  But I do understand the need to hide away and I hope you are feeling better soon.

Topic: It's Monday

Well, here's to the beginning of a new week!  I know I'm ready to start all over again.  Last week is kind of a big blur to us.  We are both emotionally exhausted.  Not only grandpa passing for me but a pretty big shake up at church that hopefully mostly ended at our meeting last night.  I'm ready to get back into the swing of things.   I am a little worried about having had training for work then had a week off so probably don't remember much of it but I suppose with time it'll come back to me.  I do have a meeting with my supervisor this afternoon so we'll talk about it.  Today we have nothing other than work planned.   DH got some duck from a friend at church yesterday that he got when he was out hunting so I'll be cooking that for him tonight.   I'm also planning on making a big pot of chili.

Jamie, winter ha**** for us!!   We woke up Sat morning to snow on the ground ahhhhhhhhhhh.  It's gone right now but it was there.   Roads were terrible.   Let me tell you standing out at that cemetery was not fun.   BRRRRRRRRRRR   I sure hope you're feeling better....never feel bad if you come here to vent your frustrations etc....   I know I missed you but totally understand as well.

Court, hope you had a very fun weekend but also got some relaxing in as well.   I'm hoping for next weekend LOL.

Michelle, sorry about your DH's grandfather, I know that they were VERY, VERY close.

Court, you get Monday off?  Lucky DUCK!!!!

I have been busy... and moody... depressed.
Just wanting to "stick my head in the sand" and make it all go away.
The end of the month is my 2nd opinion (was supposed to be next week, but DR's office called & changed it on me) to see if I am going to end up having a hysterectomy.
My gynocoligist put me on the "mini" pill.... progesterone... I started it August 23rd... had a whole 5 days without bleeding & I have been bleeding EVERY DAY since.
I am FED UP.... depressed.... moody......
Talked to my gynocoligist Wednesday & she said pretty much just keep doing what you are doing.... and to call her after my 2nd opinion on the 29th.

Sorry to have rained on everyone's parade, but this is why I have not posted.  (Have not felt too supportive, ya know?)

I can't believe I never posted at all yesterday.   I had a rough day not feeling so well so just lounged around.   We did go out to Sadie's 3 yr check up in the morning and did a bit of shopping for clothes for the funeral tomorrow.   Sadie is 34.4 lbs and almost 38 inches tall now.   Dr says she looks great...and is right on track.   This evening is the visitation and tomorrow is the funeral.   It'll be a tough couple of days.   We've both been off work since Tuesday and had a lot of time together.   We might take some time off on Monday too if the MN Twins are still in the playoffs.   My Dr said they aren't using their tickets and we could probably get them from her if we want to go so we might just take a day to go and have some fun.   Hubby is doing well with his grandpa passing but I'm sure the next 2 days will be the hardest.  Trying to explain it to Sadie a bit has been a challenge.   She knows who grandpa Ernie is but we're just not sure how much of it she understands.   She's coming with tonight and then tomorrow grandpa is going to come take her if we want while we go to the funeral.  Not much else on our agenda for the weekend...hoping to get some rest on Sunday.

Sounds like you are going to be very busy, Court!   Enjoy that football game...sounds like a lot of fun.    Jamie...I hope everything is ok and you are just busy and not able to post.

Have a great weekend!

Happy Friday!!!!!!!!  So how are you today?  I hope things are well with you all and life just got in the way of the computer yesterday.  I was pretty grumpy yesterday bet better today.  Got to vent a bit last evening so that helped me some and I went to bed early, extra sleep always helps.  So I am in for a super busy weekend.  Leaving work today about 1 and headed to the mall to get a bday gift for my stepmom, then to the soccer fields to help set up for the tournament, then to my sisters for the football game, our school against her school, GO EAGLES!!, then finally home.  Up early tomorrow & out the door for soccer tournament, then off to my dad's to celebrate stepmoms bday, then home.  Sunday up & out the door early for soccer again GO FURY!!!, then home. Will be so glad for the holiday on Monday and a chance to relax.  Should finish painting the fence on Sunday afternoon or Monday which means I will finally be able to have a house warming party, thinking about having it on the 24th.  We shall see if I can talk the hubby into it.
Have a safe & wonderful weekend!!

Morning!  How are you?  A bit moody here.  Definitely needing some quiet time & me time.  Perhpas I will lock myself in the bedroom tonight with a book.  Not much really going on.  I did find out that I finally got my upgrade & raise at work.  I am pretty excited about that.  We have the girlies tonight so I sure the evening will be interesting to say the least.  Hope you guys have a great one!

Michelle, you & yours have my deepest sympathy.  I am glad you all got to enjoy the time with him this week.  It will be treasured memories for you.

Not too much going on here.  A little excitement in the neighborhood as the fire trucks & ambulances rolled in, until we discovered it was because a neighbor had passed.  Was interesting though as I went to introduce myself to the mother of a couple of the girlies friends, it ended up being someone I knew from the VA board (she hasn't been active in a couple of years) and we were finally meeting in person.  Tonight will be a quiet night at home.  I am looking forward to it.  Hope you all have a great one!

Topic: It's a sad Wed here
It's a sad Wed at our house.   About 6am the phone rang.   It was my mother in law saying grandpa passed away at 5 am.   We will miss him something terrible but we're also very much at peace with his passing.   He's in such a better place now and is back with grandma.  We both shed a few tears but it's just part of life.   We both will be off work for the rest of the week.   We did get to sit with him for most of the day yesterday.   It was so hard to see him like that.   He did however respond quite a bit to Sadie...she was singing to him and he sat up and looked at her and said yeah!   So sweet to see that he knew she was there.  She kept saying hi to him and telling him she loved him.  It's strange she seems like she maybe understands a bit of what was going on.  Not sure if she'll understand anything today when we tell her he's gone but that's ok.   She gave him lots of joy.  I have a dr appt at 9:40 and then I'm sure we'll be heading up to spend some time with family.

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!
