Jaime, you have been on my mind too!!!!!  Miss you.

Michelle, from what I understand boys are a lot easier to deal with than girls.  Ham & bean soup sounds yummy!  What is your recipe?  That is funny as I have been craving soups lately.  Thinking about some sausage & potato soup for one night this week.  We shall see if that happens or not.

Not much going on today.  At work as normal, counting the days til next week's vacation time.  Trying to figure out a few little day trips we can take around some of the house chores we want to complete.  Definitely hoping for some relax time to get out of the funk I have been in.  Tonight is girlie night and we will probably just have a quiet night at home.  Hope you have a great one!

Yayyy Monday is over....and it wasn't such a bad day on my end.   Worked and made a trip to the store but that's about it.   My 17 yr old son is very sick.   I called the Dr and they told me they thought he was ok to jus****ch at home for the night and maybe to bring him in today.  We'll see how he's feeling when he wakes up.  We're thinking it's the H1N1 but who knows.   Made a pot of homemade ham and bean soup yesterday and it was very yummmy!   Tonight is more of the same....need to figure out what to make for dinner yet though.  Nothing really on the agenda but tomorrow is my day off.   Well, I think I'll be up working some OT but I can do that at my leisure no set hours.

Court I hope the teenage drama calms down for you.   I'm realizing it's so much easier to have a teenage boy in the house than it was a girl uggghhh.

Jamie,  I miss you!!   I hope things are going well for you and you're just really busy.  I hope your hubby and Hunter are well also.  Just know I've been thinking about you all.

I will try to get a chance soon to post some pictures of Sadie's bday and Halloween.

I was not feeling like getting up today either.  It is my Monday off work  but I have to go in for about an hour for a meeting.   Hubby is off today too so I get to spend some time with him when I get home.  We had an enjoyable weekend but of course it wasn't long enough.  Had some behavior issues with our youngest.  They are pretty major and she is in big trouble so things will be adjusted a bit in the next few weeks to account for that.  Gotta love those teens.  I worked on some Christmas shopping this weekend too.  Hoping to get a bit more done in the next few weeks so I do not feel overwhelmed in December.  Well  I better go get ready for work.  Have a great one!!

Oh I didn't want to get out of bed today!   Of course if didn't help that Sadie was up from wetting her bed at 3:30 am and I had a hard time getting back to sleep.  I think we may go back to pullups at bedtime for a while.  She's been wet 3 nights lately.   Oh well.   We had a good weekend...a little busy but good.  Fri night we took Sadie trick or treating at the mall then had family pictures taken afterwards...well minus my oldest daughter.  We all went out for a nice dinner together afterwards and then came home to spend the evening together.  Sat we stayed home during the day then went with DH's cousin and his daughter trick or treating a bit.  We went to some Dr's that his mom knows mostly.   The girls had fun but had even more fun when we got back to the house where they could play together.  Yesterday was church and grocery shopping day.   I got a little bit more Christmas shopping done for Sadie too.  Got lots of cleaning done around the house last night as well.

Well, it's off to work yet again.  Hope everyone's weekend went well and you have a great Monday!

WooHoo it's Friday!  We are all set for Trick or Treating.   Tonight is the trick or treating at our mall....my son is taking Sadie and we are running to pick up her fundraiser stuff for dance.  Hopefully it won't take too long so we can check out all the cute costumes too.  I just love seeing all the little kids on Halloween.   After the trick or treating we're getting a family picture and Sadie's 3 yr old pictures taken.   Should be an interesting night.  We're not sure what we're doing tomorrow yet other than housework during the day.   We might go out for a bit with my husband's cousin and his little girl trick or treating.  It's supposed to be pretty cold though.   Sunday will be church and football as a usual Sunday.   Sometime I'll have to go grocery shopping too.   Can't wait to see what Hunter is going to be as well.    Have fun seeing all the little ones in costume Court!

Happy Halloween everyone!

Happy Friday all!!!!  How are you?  Are you all ready for your trick or treating?  Hubby and I are pretty excited about being in a home & being able to hand out candy and see all the little ones in costume.  The girlies will be with their mom so it will just be me & him.  Tonight is football, the last home game.  tomorrow hubby works & I have chores/errands to take care of.  Sunday is an early soccer game & then off to my dad's for grandmas bday lunch.  Hope you guys have a great weekend & I am looking forward to seeing some pictures of Sadie & Hunter.

Ahhh tomorrow is Friday...really sad since today is like my Monday this week and I'm already wishing it was Friday.   We had a beginning to a good day yesterday.   Sadie and I spent the day together mostly relaxing then going to her dance class.   Last night I made a big pot of chili and corn bread muffins for church tonight.  Sadie painted and played playdough while I was cooking.   At one point I looked over and heard her talking about face paint....yep you guessed it she had painted her face....thankfully with jus****ercolors.   Mommy laughed and took a picture before washing her up.  My son then called at around 8 saying he'd be late coming home from work because they were just robbed and he had to stay to talk to the police.   OMG don't just call and tell me that.   He did call back and he was ok nobody was hurt.   He ended up not coming home til after midnight.  I'm waiting to talk to him more this morning he was just way too tired last night.  It's on the news and as far as they've said they haven't caught the person yet.  How scary!!

Court rest up and get better.  Hopefully your girly will as well and the other one will not get it!

Jamie, I hope everything is going well for you!

Morning all!  I am exhausted.  I must be fighting off the germs flying around me because I just feel blah and can't seem to get enough rest.  Will make sure to up my fluids and keep going to bed early.  Perhaps I just need a day home to recoop.  I am taking some decongestant, my chantix (15 days cigareete free!!!) and all my vitamins so hopefully I will feel better soon.  The oldest is still home sick.  Dr. says it is probably the flu, didn't want us to bring her in so as not to keep exposing others, told us to treat with Tylenol & cold meds.  Once her fever is gone for 24 hours no meds then she can go back to school.  Of course she is not happy since it is exam time.  So we have been keeping her since we were already exposed, my brother in law is home during the day & can keep an eye on her & hopefully we can keep her sister from getting it.

Nothing really planned tonight, another quiet night at home as we all rest.  Hope you all have a good one.

Oh Court I hope everyone at your house starts feeling better soon!   My niece felt the exact same way this weekend when she was here.  We had a great day yesterday celebrating Sadie's birthday.   She was a very good girl....we went to the book store and she got the book "Where the Wild Things Are".  They also had story time and some games to play.  We then read the book and went to the movie.   She liked it but was a little restless so didn't quite watch everything.  We stopped at the store then dropped daddy off at home.   Sadie and I stopped for some supper quick and headed off to her school.   It was a very busy day but very good.   She was so good without a nap.    Today is some quick shopping...we're doing family pics Fri evening and I need to find something to wear.  Other than that we'll be back home to rest for the afternoon then it's dance class for Sadie where they are wearing their Halloween costumes and bringing treats.  Tonight dh has pool league so Sadie and I are sticking home.  We're making a big pot of chili and cornbread muffins for church tomorrow night.   I hope to get some rest in as I go back to work tomorrow.

Have a great Wednesday!

Woohoo the weekend is almost here.  I can't wait either.  We do have a few small things planned but looks like I might get quite a bit of down time and time with hubby.

So I hit the bed early and am feeling better today.  Really thinking I might be fighting a sinus infection so we shall see where it takes me.  Our oldest got home last night compalining of severe body aches, exhaustion, dizziness and she had a 100 fever.  Guess we will be keeping an eye out to see if she has swine flu.  I am seeing a couple of trips to the doctor in our future.  Not much planned for tonight.  Another lazy night at home, will be in front of the tv with hubby, supporting his yankees.  Hope you have a great one!!
