Good Morning!!!!  Ya, glad it's a short work week here too, as well.  I am looking foward to it!!!
It finally warmed up here, it is now around 20 degrees.  That is like a 30 degree difference, or more!!!  We did get a little snow on Saturday, too.

Had an interesting night last night.   Went to supper at church then a meeting afterwards.   I'll just put it this way it's a planning meeting for a huge meeting this Sunday....a very stressful situation is going on there.  DH is leaving this afternoon and won't be bac****il tomorrow afternoon.  The girls and I are heading out to the Christmas parade tonight.  Probably will be back home in bed shortly after it's over.   I have to work 4hrs tomorrow.  My bed is being delivered sometime tomorrow as well.  Sunday is potluck at church then the big meeting.  Otherwise that's it for the weekend.  Trying to decide if I'm going to do baking for Christmas this yr.   If I am I really could get started on it soon.

Yes, my daughter is home safe and sound....what a sigh of relief when we saw her come off that airplane.  Sadie is one happy little girl to have her big sister back!!  It's a nice feeling to have all the kids under one roof again...even if there'll be rough patches I'm sure. 

Tonight is dinner at church then I have a meeting.   Nothing else much planned other than trying to sneak out with my daughter to get her a winter jacket at some time.  Tomorrow my DH leaves for an overnight retreat for church so he'll be busy getting ready for that tonight.   Hoping to get to bed fairly early as I'm a bit tired today.

Good morning ladies!!   Wow did I sleep good.   So nice to sleep until almost 8 instead of my normal 5.  I'm off today and decided not to work my overtime today so I am actually taking the whole day off.  It's 9 am and I sit here trying to decide if we're leaving early to head down to Minneapolis and do some shopping etc... on the way or if we'll just go straight to the airport.  It's a 2 1/2 hr drive to the airport from home.  I have to decide soon so I can get myself and Sadie ready and wake my son up so he can get ready.  We will definitely be doing lunch along the way somewhere.  My daughter called this morning just before leaving for the airport.   She was excited but nervous.  she's never flown before and is flying alone.   She was all worried about what we'd do for dinner on the way home LOL.   Sounds like a kid eh??   I'm really glad she'll be back home but am a little reserved on what to think of it all.   It's been quite a while since she lived with us.   She's been gone 7 months and was in her own apt for about 8 months before that too.   She's also coming back home with no winter clothing so I guess we'll be shopping for a jacket etc.. 

We had a good evening last night.   We went to school with Sadie which she absolutely loves!!   I always enjoy the adult time we spend there with the other parents.  Tonight will be just hanging with the family here at home.  My daughter's best friend will be coming over as well.  Tomorrow we will have church in the evening and I have a meeting after that.  Lots of craziness and upheaval going on at church right now.  Fri my hubby is going on an overnight retreat for church.  He'll be gone until Sat afternoon sometime.  I'm thinking if it's not too cold I'll take Sadie to the Christmas City of the North parade here in town.  Our new bed gets delivered on Sat...ooooh I can't wait.

Hey ladies!  Things are going pretty well today.  Had my yearly with the doc this a.m. so it was fasting til then.  Boy was I glad for a cup of coffee when that was done.  Of course after a week off I am swamped at work, not going to let it overwhelm me though, it will get done when it gets done.  Not muched planned for the day.  Work of course & girlies tonight.  I think I am taking the oldest to the store, she needs a costume for a party this weekend.  Hope you all have a great one!

p.s.  glad it isn't as cold here, we are in the 60's during the day then low 40's at night.
