Hey Michelle.  Sounds like you guys are really enjoying the Christmas season!  Have a great time at the lighting display and with Santa.  I am taking my little ones to see the big guy tomorrow.

Charlie is working at night for a few weeks plowing snow until he gets his permanent job.  That is kind of a bummer, since I don't really get to see him.  But, at least he has something to keep him busy.  As for me I am loving all the snow we are having and can't wait to get all my Christmas boxes shipped!

Have a great weekend all.

HUGS!

Well my day started off super busy.  Got up and took the girlies to school, planned to head in to work a bit late as the oldest had a talent show at school that I was going too.  Heard the forcast & decided I better go to the grocery store before the show.  They are calling for 10 - 20 inches of snow tonight/tomorrow.  Here are the plans for the weekend (likely to changed due to weather).   Tonight is teenage girlies sleepovers.  Tomorrow is a few errands, pick up my nephews. bake cookie**** a holiday party up the street and then Sunday is Christmas with my mom & family.  We always do it the Sunday before Christmas so that everyone can be there together.  Will probably end up snowed in with teens all weekend.  Thank goodness I hit the store & stocked up on food.  Hope you all have a great one!

Woohoo it's Friday!    Had a great night last night.   Even though I was tired I'm glad we went.   We went with our church caroling in the neighborhood.   Sadie absolutely loved it....singing as loud as she could.   She loved playing in the snow along the way as well.   Of course we had to sing Rudolph like 20 times for her LOL.   She told daddy..."hey this is kinda like trick or treating!".   It kinda was but we gave out treats instead of getting them LOL.   Glad we did that with her and will have to be sure we do it every yr.   It was fun seeing people's faces light up and even some of them sang along.

Today is a big day for Sadie!!   We're going to the lighting display and to see Santa tonight.   Actually she's more excited to see Frosty than Santa LOL.  I'm going to a meeting for work at Olive Garden this afternoon.....oh shucks what a terrible thing to have to do.    hehehe  We'll do the Santa thing and get some dinner tonight...then we're stopping to buy Sadie a new sled.  Tomorrow after I work 4 hrs in the morning we're taking Sadie sledding then to see Great Grandma.   Bringing like 10 meals for her, homemade cookies, and pictures of us all.   She'll be excited to have the company I'm sure.  Sun is going to be fun as well....church smorgasbord....and a little party at my father in laws for the kids.  Somewhere in there I'll get my wrapping done I hope.

It's 9 degrees here today.....it's strange when I think that's kinda warm LOL.  Should be good weather wise to do some outdoor stuff this weekend.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

It was supposed to drop below zero last night, but it only cleared up for an hour or so, right before it got dark, so like 4:00......... Then, it must have clouded back up, because it is still snowing!!!  It causes hazards, but that just goes with the territory of snow.  It is the other drivers that are scarey!!!!
But, now that the snow is getting deeper.... Moose will strat stepping out onto the plowed roads more often.

Yes, it has been snowing for 3 days!!!!

Have a GREAT day, ladies!!!!

Morning!   It's warm here too.... a balmy 12 degrees.   Woohoo  LOL.   I was just telling DH this morning that tomorrow is supposed to be a high of 28 and it's going to be really warm LOL.   We need to get out to the big outdoor lighting celebration again so Sadie can see Santa finally.  www.bentleyvilleusa.com that's the lighting thing I'm talking about.   It's amazing!  I need to go get 2 gift cards still otherwise I'm finished shopping.   I have yet to wrap anything and can't remember what I've boughten and where I've hidden it all hehehe...it'll be like a treasure hunt for sure.   Not sure when I'll get it done.   Time is running out.   Tonight we have our church night...dinner first and then we're going out to do some caroling.  Should be fun.   I'm having problems with my feet though so not sure what I'll do....my one foot is soooo hard to get any shoes to feel good.   The only ones I've ever had that I can honestly say are comfortable are my Crocs....I'm tempted to go buy a pair of the Crocs with the lining for winter.  Tomorrow I think we'll head out to that lighting thing right after work.   I still have 4 more hrs of OT to work this week which will probably end up happening Sat morning.  We plan to go visit DH's grandma on Sat...she doesn't like to go out so won't be with us on Christmas Day.   We got a nice frame and put our family pic in it for her plus I've been freezing meals for her as I've been cooking....still going to make a casserole and stuffed peppers to bring her before we go.  We'll also bring her a plate of homemade goodies (cookies etc...).   She'll be thrilled just to spend time with us I'm sure.  Might take Sadie sledding after visiting but of course we'll have to go buy a new sled first.....i think her infant one will be a bit too small.   I'm hoping to get time Sat night then to do some wrapping.  Sun we have church....smorgasbord after church for lunch and then at 4 grandma and grandpa are having a little Christmas gathering at their house for Christmas since we're doing the big celebration here at our house this yr.  Wow I'm tired already....well at least Sun is pretty relaxing and fun....actually the whole weekend will be except those 4 hrs of work.

Hopefully you are all having a good week....I really do enjoy checking in with you all each day......it starts my day out right!   I'm happy to have the 3 of you here!

Well it is a bit cold here today.  28 this a.m. but with the wind chill it feels like 17.  Not really going to get to warm for us, although for you all it probably seems almost hot, lol.  Calling for snow over the weekend, could be a big one.  Did get some of the shopping done last night, picked up dinner on the way home cause neither of us felt like cooking, then we cuddled in front of the fire, watching some tv and climbed in to bed early.  The girlies are with us tonight, oldest has dress rehersal for a fashion show so I know we will be running a bit tonight.  Perhaps I will get some of the wrapping from things I got yesterday doen tonight.  Might go out on my lunch break again today.  We shall see.  Have a great one!

The "help" factor has worked wonders for my neices & nephews along with other little ones I have been around.  Folding laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. works wonders.  Normally the attention span is short so things have to keep changing in order to keep them occupied.  Coloring, puzzles, games, flash cards, are good ideas too.  Crafts usually work too as long as they aren't too complicated or messy.  :)
