Yayyy it's Friday!   It's been a long week.   I could so use a week of not working any overtime.  Haven't heard if we have to next week yet.   Had a good day yesterday.   The weather was beautiful so Sadie, the dog, and I were out in the yard after work.   Sadie loves to shovel so she was shoveling away what we have that's not melted yet.  I got some ice chopped away and the dog jus****ched LOL.   I had to run to Target to get a few things but otherwise we just did a little housework and watched the Olympics.  Tonight we have to pack to go to dh's aunt and uncle's tomorrow.   We thought about leaving tonight but I have nothing packed so it'd be a stretch to get it all done.  I'll get my grocery shopping done tonight before going this way as well.  Looking forward to just getting away from the house and the big kids.  Sadie of course will be coming with us.  That's all we have going on around here.  

Any big plans for the weekend?  

It's sunny here today too.   Supposed to be a beautiful day so hoping to get out for a walk after work.   The dog and Sadie will both appreciate it I'm sure.  DH wants to go watch the girl's highschool hockey game tonight.   Still deciding if I want to go or not.   I should finish up the laundry so we can pack for the weekend.   We aren't leaving until Sat morning though.   I had a  nice evening as well.   Had supper out without kids woohoo.   Sadie was being a beastly and her brother offered to watch her so we went and picked them up tacos on the way back.  Today I have chicken cooking away to make chicken and dumplings...DH can't eat them though....dumplings are too doughy for his band.  He's having a BLT instead.  His band is finally really working well.   I really need to get working out so he doesn't pass me by here.   Can't wait for spring to be able to ride bike again. 

Glad school is back in, Court!   I'm sure being back into a routine will be good for everyone.  We haven't had a snow day off school yet this yr.   Sure now we'll get slammed and it'll be all my fault because I said that!!   We do still have our snowiest month...March!

Morning!   I slept so good last night and finally woke up not exhausted today.   Working for another 2 hrs here then taking off for lunch.   I am going to try to do 8 to 9 hrs today so I'll have 3-4 left this afternoon/evening.   Sadie and I will stay in tonight while daddy goes to his pool league.   I actually enjoy Wed evenings with her.   Just some quality mom and daughter time.  Last night we had some too.  Played on the Wii Fi****ched Olympics, and read books.   She tells me she's going to do the ice skating and the luge when she gets to be a really big girl LOL.  Tonight will probably be more of the same.   I'm sooo looking forward to this weekend.   Fri night I'll do my grocery shopping but Sat morning we're getting up and heading out of town.   We're going to visit dh's aunt and uncle.   We'll stop for break fast along the way and are talking about  stopping at a toys r us/ baby's r us store......my supervisor  is having a baby in 2 wks and I want to get her a gift.   Sadie will have fun picking out something fun to keep her busy at auntie and uncle's house...not that she won't be spoiled rotten there anyway.   We haven't seen them since the beginning of Sept so we're all excited to go.

I love Tuesdays because........it's not Monday!!!! ahahahahaha   Made it through yesterday but barely.   I was so tired...hubby even asked if I was sick cuz I didn't want to eat dinner.   His nice way of saying I'm fat was......it's not like you to not eat LOL.   Gotta love him I guess.  We watched a bit of the olympics played some Wii and went to bed.   He's going to high school hockey tonight.  I'm undecided as to if I'm going yet....depends on how lazy I am after work.   We have to go pick up the license plates for the van after work and then were thinking of taking Sadie for pizza for supper.  Tomorrow is my "supposed" day off....but I'll be working 9 hrs...we're on 10 hrs mandatory OT again this week.   I'm going to split the day up though and take Sadie to have lunch with daddy at work.  No school here this week it's winter break so Sadie has no school tonight nor dance tomorrow night.   I'm actually looking forward to the break.  She's been watching the ice skating on the olympics and is very excited about it.   She's loved ice skating since last winter so we're debating on figure skating instead of dance next yr. 

Court...I hear ya....these kids seem to always need something.   Sadie has just about grown out of her 4T clothes so it'll be time to shop.   Of course her shoes are getting too small too.   Thankfully my 17 yr old buys most of his own clothes because he doesn't like what mom would buy.   Although he did say he needs a haircut.  There goes my bonus I got last week lol.

Ah my weekend was fabulous!  Had a great time with my friends, enjoyed shopping and got some great deals.  Even got my nose pierced.  Love it!!  Today will be a lazy day around home in order to get ready to get back on a normal scheduled, assuming the snow storm we are supposed to get today doesn't trap us all again.  Have a great one!!!
