Hey I've got one of those mocking birds at my house too!!! Sometimes it's not so cute!! We have some big plans for the 4th....sorry this is a long one. My sisters, their families, friends, and our family are renting a campground in WI. It has 7 cabins along with a big lodge building with another room off from it with 4 more bunks. It sleeps 64 people. There's a kitchen, refridgerators, stoves, and running water (not drinkable but can use to wash up etc....). We've been going to this place since I was about 7 yrs old...OMG that means for 30 yrs now. It started out as a place for our family reunion for my dad's family...now we do it on our own. We should have about 40 people there. It's $450 for the 3 nights. We usually potluck the food except for lunch everyone brings whatever they want for that. We planned burgers and brats one night, fajitas one night, and steak/chicken for one night. We each make a very big salad and some kind of dessert or two to share. We usually have way too much food. Breakfasts will include...scrambled eggs, pancakes, and or biscuits and gravy. We are each also bringing a lb of bacon and a lb of sausage....also fruit and juice. We are all responsible for our own drinks. Funny part of this whole weekend is a few yrs ago when my husband came with us for the first time.....ok he's legally blind...sees well in the day but is completely blind in the dark......was lighting off the fireworks for us all. So it's been a running joke in our family that we let the blind man light off the fireworks. Well, this yr my sister found some with glow in the dark fuses...hehehe we are getting him some as a joke. Can you tell I'm very excited about this whole weekend??? Sadie will absolutely love being outside and swimming all weekend long. We have stocked up on sunscreen and bug spray.

Hunter & I have volunteered to walk & hand out candy in the 4th of July parade here. I think it will be a blast!!! My DH has to work, so, it was going to be a mommy/son day, anyway. Have I told you all that he has become a little 'mocking bird'?? I am learning that I need to watch what I say & how I react to things A WHOLE LOT MORE!!!!!!!!!!! -Jamie

Hey JoAnn, DH is grilling chicken for us tonight also. Sarah wakes up just about every morning asking for either pizza or chicken. The child is going to start growing feathers for how much chicken she eats... LOL When I tell her she can't have pizza or chicken for breakfast she then asks for toast. I have no idea where that has come from but she is now on this toast kick. I'm sorry your getting beat up at work. What is with these employees??? Why can't they just let us make our money and leave us alone. LOL We understand if you're not able to be as active as you would like. We are still here for you regardless how active your able to be. We do miss you when we don't hear from you but we completely understand. Hugs Teresa

Hey Ladies, Hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. Nothing exciting going on today. Just the same ole work drama... LOL This place is better then a soap opera.. Anyone else like these little Emoticons??? I'm dying to post or reply to a post using all of them... Now how crazy would that drive everyone??? LOL I sit here and look at them every time I post and figure out how I can incorporate them into my post. Hmmm???? I think the happy pills are kicking in... Anyway, back to the real world... Court, I'm so sorry to hear about your sunburn. Like JoAnn said, I'm fair skin also so if I even just look at the sun I look like a lobster. The only time I've actually had a nice tan was right before I got pregnant with Sarah and I was going to a tanning salon. Hope you start feeling better soon.
