Morning! I am at work ready for the day to be over & my weekend to start. Had a good evening, family dinner then off to my mom's for the kid swap, my sister left her little one with my mom & I gave my girlies to my sister so that they could go to Hershey Park today. got a chance to run around the yard with my niece and a couple of nephews chasing lightning bugs. Tonight will be some errands & getting ready for the weekend. So I had a wierd mommy moment yesterday. I was talking to my sister on the phone & I started giving her weird instructions on what the girlies like/dislike etc. It was so weird, like I was letting my little ones go away for the first time & needed to give all the little details so they would be okay. Now I would understand that if they were young but my girlies are 12 & 14, way old enough to be fine while gone. I just found it funny. Hope you all have a great day!!!

Hey Court, I saw you over on the VA board. I used to be really active over there before I got pregnant with Sarah. Back when Leilani, Wendy and Carol were all still around. DH and I used to go to all of the get togethers and had a blast with everyone which was before we even got married. We went to the first Richmond get together they had which was in June of 2005. We had sooo much fun. I really miss it a lot. There are so many new faces over there now. I'm not sure if anyone would even remember me. I think Tink would. Maybe I'll stop by the board to say HI. I do lurk over there every once in a while. I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend.

Thank you Michelle! I'm really excited. In this business it's all in who you know so knowing the right people and having a good reputation for the work I do is really paying off right now. I'm ready for a new adventure and I also know that if it's God's will then it will happen.

Hey Ladies! I'm so sorry. As soon as I got back from the interview I got pulled into a phone conference and just now got out. The interview was really really good! The guy I talked to today was the onsite supervisor for the contracting company. He said that my resume has been floating around so they talked to a few people down in Charleston I've worked with and some up here. He said they all told him that if I was interested in moving over to work with him that he needed to snatch me up. I gave him a list of references including other government people I've supported. He told me he didn't need that list because my reputation has already preceded me so he basically already decided he wanted me on board with them. We talked for a little over an hour and found that there are many people that we both know. He is going to set up a time next week for me to come back and talk to the government people I would be supporting. As he put it 'we want you but want to make sure you want us.'... LOL This should be no problem either since I already know a few of the government guys down there. I feel like I'm floating right now. You ladies are wonderful!
