Hey Jamie, I'm sorry I've been MIA today. It's 9:30pm and I'm just now getting a chance to check the boards. I talked to Kevin (supervisor I interviewed with) yesterday afternoon and the job is mine!!!! YAY!! The government guy wants to get me in there ASAP but we need to wait on all the official paperwork at the contracting company. We already negotiated a salary and have everything ready to go just waiting on the corporate office to finish doing their part. We were really hoping they would have an offer letter to me by tomorrow but it doesn't look like they will be able to get it to me until the beginning part of next week. So I'll be starting on August 4th instead of July 28th. This is okay with me because it gives me an extra week to get things straight and tie up some loose ends at my current job. I really like the government person I'm supporting right now and don't want to leave her hanging. I just don't like the other govie and my current company. I could go ahead and give my notice now with August 1st as my last day but I'm waiting until I have a signed offer letter in my hands. I've seen too many of my friends get burned by giving their notice before they had the offer letter. The new company and government people are very understanding and said they would handle it the same way I am. I'm soooo excited!!!! I knew if it was meant to be then the pieces would fall into place. How can you not believe in the power of prayer!?! As far as the house goes..... my BIL is driving me crazy!!!! Don't get me wrong he is really really good at what he does and is doing an amazing job but the man himself gets on my last nerve. He finished the tile on the bathroom floor last weekend and moved on to the shower floor. We knew there was a leak somewhere because the floor on the other side of the shower wall on the living room side was wet. I told my DH that there was probably mold and rotted wood but of course I know nothing.. LOL Anyway BIL tore out the shower floor and pulled up part of the carpet and the whole floor under the shower and part of the floor on the living room side was totally rotted. He had to basically rebuild the floor in the shower and part of the living room. Sounds like fun doesn't it.. LOL He was here until 12:30 last night finishing that part and getting the shower ready to re-tile. Did I mention that yesterday was mine & DH 3 year anniversary???? Needless to say we did not get any quiet time alone. He is here right now finishing up with the tile on the shower floor. He will finish laying the tile tonight and then grout tomorrow night. He is going to start putting down the hardwood floor Saturday. After the hardwood floor is down he will put in our new kitchen. Luckily Saturday Sarah and I will be gone most of the day. Sarah's little boyfriend DJ and his mommy are coming down Saturday morning so we are going to meet up with them. We are going to go get some lunch and take it to the Botanical Gardens to have a picnic. Plus the Gardens have a water area for the kids to play in. Ever since I told Sarah that DJ was coming down with his mommy to see her she has been talking non-stop about DJ. LOL Wow... this has turned into a book.. LOL I bet your sorry you asked me for an update now.... Thank you so much for thinking about me and asking. Hugs Teresa

Not much going on here either.....well except for work. My son has a softball game at 7 tonight but it's raining....shhhh don't tell him but I'm praying the rain continues. I just need a night to be home and relax. Someone really needs to come in and clean my house.......yeah right.....that will have to wait till the weekend I'm afraid. We have tickets for the rodeo tomorrow night....won them on the radio. If it rains we will find something else fun to do. I sooo need a day for "me". If the softball game is rained out I think it'll be a good night to crawl in bed and read a book. Of course that means daddy has Sadie duty. I worked 12 hrs yesterday and 10 today so I think I deserve an early bedtime LOL. I suppose I could really escape and go to a movie but I hate paying that much for a nap....LOL I always fall asleep.

Not too much going on here. Slept pretty good last nite so I am feeling better today. Nothing really on the books other than work & then home. Have a great one!
