Topic: Monday morning yet again
Hello to everyone!!   Here we are on yet another Monday morning.   I don't like Mondays generally but I really don't like this one.   I'm trying my hardest to get  a 12 hr work day in today to avoid some long days later in the week.   Hahahaha  I'll work long days all week anyway and I know it.   We're swamped at work as usual.   Oh well it makes for a nice paycheck.  Other than work there's not much planned for this week.   We have our last 2 softball games of the season tomorrow and Thurs.   Saturday morning we're going to a family fun day at church and then heading out of town to say goodbye to my sister and to get our hair done.   We'll be back Monday afternoon.   My son finally got his permit this past week so he's coming with and going to drive.   I can actually sit back and relax for some of the drive.   He's actually doing really well at driving so thankfully it's not as nerve wracking as I thought it'd be.

Well, I hope you are all doing well!

HA HA, Michelle, that you are talking about clothing sizes..... Hunter has been in 3T's for around a year, and they still fit just fine!!  Just getting taller & taller.  Now that fall is upon us, I got the 4T's from my sister (she has 4 boys, so hand-me downs are GREAT!!!)  I got the 4T's because high-water pants were starting, and with cold weather coming up, may as well get it done sooner than later.

DH finished up the caribou, except part of it is frozen, so when he gets his grinder out, he can finish up the processing.

And on a GOOD NOTE..... DH's dad gets to leave the area of Standford to go HOME, at last!!!

Just wanted to stop in to say hi!   Not much going on here.   Spent the evening last night just relaxing after working an 11 hr day.   Hopefully I have more energy tonight to go to the Y and to visit with my sister before she goes home tomorrow.   No big plans for the weekend coming up either...hoping to get some things done around the house.   Sadie's room for one of them....someone needs to come in and take at least half of these toys away.   I've had it with so many toys LOL.   Her birthday is right around the corner too.   She's growing like a weed as well and her clothes need to be gone through.   Thankfully it's time for a season change anyway.   She's going into a size 6 now...her 5's are getting a bit snug.

Hope you all are doing well!

Good morning!   Somehow I feel like I skipped right over Monday this week.   Not a bad day to skip though LOL.  Might have something to do with being swamped after being on vacation.  As I said on Friday, we had a great vacation and didn't want it to end.   I posted Fri evening that my cousin took Sadie for a bit.   Well, it was all a bit of a cover up for a surprise 40th birthday party for me.   That was their way of getting me there.   My sister, cousin, and hubby planned it all and it worked.   It was a great time.   Most my family, my husband's family, and some friends were there.   My birthday isn't until the 29th but they wanted to surprise me and figured I wouldn't be suspecting anything.

Today is my son's 18th birthday.   He still hasn't gotten his driver's license so today he's going to go take the permit test.  He'll be gone with friends most of the day so we had pie with him last night.  We also got him a tackle box and a bunch of fishing stuff.   I think he liked everything.

Well, I hope everything is going well for everyone!!  Have a great day!

Sounds like it's busy around your place!   It's 6pm and I'm just now getting on the computer for the day.   I've been reading most of the day.  Sadie left with my cousin for a while and my son and nephew are out for the evening so it's nice and quiet here.

DH's frind got a moose with his bow.  They are currently at my house, processing the moose in the garage.

DH leaves Saturday morning to catch his plane to take him to the Talkeetna mountains, for his caribou.

Then, since he has not gotten a moose, when the season opens for Fort Rich, he will use his draw for that.  It is archery.

So, we are on our way to filling out freezer for the winter......

Topic: RE: Hump Day
Hey, Jamie, did ya miss me??   We had an amazing few days camping.   The weather was hot hot hot during the day...about 90 and humid...great for swimming and ice cream lol.   DH did a little fishing...I read a little...we all swam...and Sadie played a lot and got very dirty.    The campground we went to was a federal one and was very very nice...they say the nicest one in the US.   It rained early early Wed morning while we slept but that's all the rain we got while we were out.   We stopped on the way home to peek at pop up tent campers as we're hoping next summer to have one.   We had fun tenting it but it'd sure be nice to not worry about rain and IF the tent will leak.  We found something we're interested in or at least what we'd like to find in one anyway.   We need to financially wait until spring to do it though.

Now it's on to clean house for a day or so and my sister will be here for the next week camping near by so we'll be busy I'm sure.   Her 18 yr old is here already spending a few extra days with my son.
