Not doing too much this weekend, but next weekend, we have a camping trip planned. Maybe I will get some work done in the office..... I keep putting that aside & saying it is a winter-time project, but really, I could clean off the bed & do some filing!!!!!!

We had "date night" last night. Since it was raining, we went bowling and out to dinner. It was nice. We also stopped at Wal-Mart for some compost so that we could plant a tree (A Flowering Plum also called "The Rose Tree Of China"---It is one of the first to flower in the spring up here in Alaska) this weekend. I had bought it last year, but I kept it in the pot, since our plan was to move & we already had to dig up one tree and transplant it. (Hunter's tree that we had planted in 2006 WAS going with us when we moved, even though Mark said "we can just buy another one" That one is called a Thunder Child Crabapple Tree)
No big plans this weekend....... but next weekend FOR SURE!!!!

Hey, ladies!!! 2nd day back to work and I tell you what...I am so ready to just go home. I talked to my boss and I am leaving at 11:30 to go w/my brother (taking my lunch)...he has to sign his life away on his house. Then, I am going home and working the rest of the day from home. Should be interesting.

So glad to have you back & so glad you are feeling better. Your little ones are sooo cute. Had a great evening last night. Met my sister & her family for ice cream, then our oldest got her first babysitting job. She took a certification class a few weeks ago at the library & last night our neighbors became her first customers. She did really good with their little one (it helps that he so has a crush on both our girls & is cute as can be). Earned some extra money for our beach trip next month. Lots of stuff going on this weekend. Took today off to spend time with hubby & the girlies. It is supposed to be so hot here we are going to go to a movie. If the girlies ever get out of bed we will probably go to brunch. Think the hubby & I are going to go out dancing tonight. Got some shopping to do tomorrow (bday gifts for 2 of my sisters, a new popcorn popper for us, and I am thinking I need a trip to Victoria Secrets), possibly a picnic in the park tomorrow night for the free summer concert, some bluegrass music which my hubby enjoys. Sunday is a pool party bday for my 2 sisters. Lots of fun things to enjoy! Hope you all have a great one!!!

Oh Jen it's soo good to see you back. Glad you're feeling better. Wow those kids are growing like weeds. And sooo adoreable. I'm so glad it's Friday. About 7 1/2 hrs to go for the week then I'll be home free for a couple. We are planning to take Sadie to the lakewalk tonight or something like that....she loves to see the boats and chase the birds. I have some old bread here so we might just tick some people off and let her feed the birds LOL. Tomorrow it's houswork in the morning.....my oldest moved out last week so we're still rearranging the house. We have a dinner date with another couple tomorrow evening then the 4 of us are going to a play titled "I love you, you're perfect, now change". Should be lots of fun. Sunday morning I'm going to a coffee support group with others from here. Not sure if we'll do anything else on Sunday or just relax. Hope you all have a great weekend.

LOL well it's supposed to be. I'm just about sure that it'll change by Monday but I'm going to just put that in the back of my mind and have a fun weekend. Hey, the checks are nice at least. Rumor is they fired a bunch of people in other depts and have cut overtime totally in other areas so I guess I should just be thankful that I have a job.

Girl, this has been a very interesting adventure. LOL Hopefully BIL will be able to finish everything by Sunday. As it is right now I have NO kitchen at all. This morning I at least had a kitchen sink but by time I got home that was gone too. My poor house is naked. LOL
Saturday DH and I have to go into town so we can get the tile back splash, hardware for the cabinets, new facet for kitchen sink and try and agree on a sofa and recliner. I've been taking pictures all week so I'll try and post some to my website tonight after Sarah goes to bed. I have fallen in love with the hardwood floor. I'm the type that can't imagine in my head how something is going to look. I have to see it in person so I was really worried about the floor. I have to say DH did a wonderful job picking it out. I'll let you know as soon as I get some pictures posted.
