Morning all!!!! My Tueday was pretty good. Finished up work, headed to the gym, then home for the evening. Hubby came in as I was getting ready to fix dinner and decided we should order takeout (he was worn out from being in the heat all day and didn't want to have to do the clean up). After dinner we relaxed all evening. On the books for today is work of course then off to my mom's for dinner so she can help me highlight my hair, then home to my hubby & girlies. We are getting the girlies tonight because they have tickets to the Nationals game with their dad tomorrow. I passed my ticket on to one of our "adopted" sons (oh the hardship) so I get a night to myself tomorrow. Oh the possibilities... Have a great one!!!!

Happy Tuesday to you too!!!!! It is trying SO HARD to clear off & give us some desperately needed sun....... I sure hope that it shines today!!!!!!! Just a trip to the grocery store is planned for tonight. A few chores & that is it. If the weather turns decent, we will be out enjoying the weather in the back yard. -Jamie

My Monday was a Monday plain and simply a Monday. I went to the eye Dr in the afternoon. I have been a diabetic for 20 yrs...about 5 yrs ago or so I had to have a laser treatment/surgery on my right eye due to diabetic retinopathy. My eyes have been stable ever since. Well, I started seeing a new Dr 3 months ago....I went in for a recheck yesterday...my right eye has improved even more in the last 3 months but my left eye she thinks has gotten worse. I have an appt on the 18th with a retinal specialist to do some testing and or take pictures of my eyes. Ohhhh let me tell you it's not fun......I had a nasty headache last time they did this. I then will probably be scheduled for that same treatment on my left eye this time. It's not a real huge deal but my mother was diabetic and went totally blind from it so it's a very scary thing for me to deal with. My husband was not supportive last night at all...he was too busy watching his sports. I got upset with that then decided to balance the checkbook and pay bills. Well, we're supposed to be leaving Thur for a long weekend and after doing bills I decided we'd need to make it very cheap. Well my husband seems to think tha the and my son need $100 to eat 3 meals off from while they're with my nephew. I just can't do that. Now why they can't eat one good meal and eat cheaply for the other 2??? Well, as of last night the decision was to stay home except for the baseball game on Sat which we already have tickets for. We do have a pass to our local zoo and children's museum so Thur and Fri while we're off we'll still do something fun but cheap with Sadie. I was a bit disappointed but he made me feel guilty that he can't go to his precious Vikings training camp. I went to bed upset....he also got very frustrated with Sadie. She's definitely hit those terrible twos and was very whiney and not listening last night. It's so hard to deal with him when he's cranky. Normally he's a very great dad and husband but last night I wanted to hang him LOL. Anyway...tonight is church softball so it's sandwiches and fruit for supper here. Then hopefully it'll be to bed at a decent time. Sorry for the rant guys...whew I feel better. If you have the time please keep my eyes in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks

Alrighty, i KNOW you are busy with work, trying to wind down one job/train the one coming in, maybe.... and then having to train for your other position,,,,,,,,, but,,,,,, you are neglecting the fine details!!!! Are you enjoying your newly finished kitchen & your new furniture??????? I sure hope so!!! I hope it is all finished & you have unpacked!!!! -Jamie
