You are on the ball this morning Michelle!! I am exhausted....stayed up too late watching women's gymnastics on the olympics. I'm even drinking coffeee....I never drink coffee LOL. It is getting closer and closer to the weekend....even better mine starts a day early this week. I won't be near a computer all weekend either booohhhhh. I'm heading to ND with my best friend....we're bringing both our girls too.....Sadie 21 months and her 7 yr old. It's a 6 hr car ride...should be interesting. We're leaving 8 am Fri morning and coming home Sunday evening. We got a call this morning saying my FIL's neighbor died yesterday. The poor woman has been on her death bed for a yr and a half...they went home to be with family over a yr ago for her to die but had to come back because she was just hanging on. He had to come back to work in order to keep the health insurance. It's sad but such a relief. So, they are in my thoughts and prayers this morning. Nothing really planned for today...just work and then packing for the weekend. My son who will be 16 on Sun has a job interview this evening at Taco John's where my daughter works. Hopefully he'll get hired and we can get him out of our hair lol. He even went to get a haircut willingly last night. Everyone have a great day!

Parenting is definitely a challenge. I am lucky in the fact that I had great parents & step parents so I have great role models to look up to. I have a good relationship with my stepdaughters so that helps too. I knew the oldest was headed for a meltdown, it has been coming for a few days. Well last night it hit. She has a tendency to hold all her emotions in until she explodes. We were able to sit & talk some of it through though so things were better after the explosion.

Ended up only working a half day yesterday because my earache and headache got to me. I rested for the afternoon.....we took Sadie for a walk by the lake last night which was very nice. Tonight I'm supposed to do my walking group by the lake but it's supposed to rain so maybe we'll meet somewhere else..not sure yet. Other than that I need to get my bills pd and checkbook balanced tonight. I also should start packing for the weekend......Sadie and I are going with my best friend and her daughter to North Dakota Friday morning until Sunday. Sunday is my son's 16th birthday as well so hopefully we'll be home in time to spend a bit of time with him. Hope you get lots of rest and family time on vacation. I empathize with you on the teenage thing...it's never easy to deal with.

Getting MENTALLY geared up for the snow that will eventually fall, in like 8-9 weeks. The leaves have started a little, to fall off of the trees. And there is MORE trmination dus on the mountains that is showing. No moose yet, but hubby has seen 4 legal moose in one area he is hunting, but this morning is hunting an entirely different area. So, only time will tell, if he get his moose with a bow or, has to wait for rifle season on August 20...... or is it the 21st?? Hunter is such a good boy. Yesterday, everytime he pooped, he would come up & say poopy. Which is fine, since we have started back at square one, we are now progressing a little further. Hard for me to believe school starts up here next Monday. I know my son is not school-age, yet...... but wow!!!!! Have a GREAT day, ladies!!!! -Jamie

Uh Oh Michelle we're in trouble with these girls. Sadie loves loves loves to take her clothes off. Her diaper is the favorite part. So far she hasn't figured how to take off a onesie so that's what she wears to bed so we don't find messes. They are growing sooo fast. Sadie is fascinated with vehicles of any kind, boats, trains, airplanes, helicopters, bikes, cars, trucks, vans, etc.... She has also decided she loves to see the moon and stars. She's a crazy girl I tell ya. I got her some new hair ribbons etc... yesterday and she was sooo excited....want pony want pony she yells. She absolutely loves to have her hair done. Not much on my plate for today thankfully. Working 8 hrs if I make it with my headache and earache. Relaxing tonight is all that's on the agenda. Maybe some playing outside with Sadie.
