Well, I can't say good morning it's 7pm. It's been a long day. Sadie was awake off and on last night which then made her crabby all day and off schedule. Today was her first full day home with mommy too. We had a pretty good weekend. Got my oldest moved in to her apt and all set up. Monday we took Sadie to the zoo. It was soooo hot....today it stormed and now is about 62 degrees. We went from 90 to 60 overnight pretty much. We don't have anything planned until Friday. We'll be heading out of town again. My nephew is being deployed and is leaving for training in NC on Sunday. We're having a going away party for him on Sat. Should be bittersweet...good to see family but so sad to say goodbye to him for a long time. A week from today Sadie starts her kindermusik class. She's going to love it...and a big bonus the classes are being held at our church so the setting will be very familiar for her.

Woohoo what wonders a chair will do for you eh??

Topic: HAPPY TUESDAY!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning!!!! The sun s up & shining & it is just a BEAUTIFUL day in Alaska!!!!

The guys here in the warehouse found me a "new" chair & I am loving it!!!! Usually..... we are the LAST department to get anything remotely (usually the chairs are destined for the dumpster, by the time they make it here) new.... in good condition. A brand new chair was delivered to a department & the "old" one came down here, and lemme tell you how NICE it is!!!! NICE!!!! It rolls too!!! The last one.... sometimes I would go to roll foward to my desk & I would have to catch myself from falling on the FLOOR, no joke!!!!

So, that is my good thoughts for the day, a new chair to sit in from here on out...... ahhhhhhhhh

Topic: Happy Labor Day (long)

When I pulled into the driveway Thursday after work, the truck was gone................ (the plan was for us to load up the camper & Friday after work, hop in & hit the road for our long, much anticipated trip.. ..at least in my mind..) I figured DH was getting it gassed up, or maybe getting it a MUCH needed bath from all that hunting, it was FILTHY. But, that was not the case. His buddy shot a moose & he was on his way out there to help him quarter it out & bring it back to our house/garage, to get all cut up. So, DH had shot one last Sunday, with his buddy there & they spent all day in our garage getting that one ready for the freezer (so each one of them got 1/2 of the moose). Now DH's buddy shot one & each one of them got 1/2 of this one.

So the good news is that we now have a WHOLE moose in our freezer for the winter, but........ no camping this weekend. I am a little bummed.................... But I COMPLETELY understand that all winter long, I will be fed. And, in the next couple of weeks, we are planning on going on one last trip!!!

I can handle that!!!

So, all I have done all weekend is work off & on in the office/guest bedroom...... and IT LOOKS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!
That was the room I would walk into, look at it & turn around & just walk back out!!!! (what a PILE of work!!)

So, I have a sense of accomplishment!!

My Thurs was pretty good. I worked then took a load of things to my daughter's apartment. I went to the local WLS support group and loved it. Then I took my daughter on her first grocery shopping trip for her apt. We took it all over got it put away etc....then home to bed. Today is my birthday!!!! WooHoo it's going to be a good day even if I have to fake it LOL. The weather is beautiful on top of it all. I'm working till 3:30 then going to pick Sadie and hubby up. We plan to go down by the lake and rent a bike to ride.....then have dinner at a mexican place sitting on the patio by the lake. Sounds like a great birthday to me. Tomorrow is the big moving day.....then Sun will be church and a picnic. Monday will probably end up being laundry/cleaning day. Have a fun long weekend everyone!!

How was your thursday? MIne was grumpy. I didn't feel great (monthly visitor). Due to attidudes & lack of interest we skipped back to school night. It was "holier than thou" teenager night, then proceeded to reappear this a.m. I see a few arguments & attitude problems as there are some adjustments made. Today I have work, although I am considering skipping out early to start me weekend, tomorrow morning we leave to spend some time on Skyline Drive with my hubby's brother. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

I have missed you, glad you are back, Jen!!!!

Off work for 4 days after today!!!! I had to take that extra day off!!! Just need to relax!! Been a busy but AWSOME summer (not counting the crappy weather of this summer).
It is just so nice to have our new home.

We plan on going camping this weekend... not sure where we are going, but it will be fun!!!!!

Well, it's one day closer to Friday right?? That has to be good. I work today and tomorrow and am off till Tues as well. We have a very big weekend coming up. My oldest got the keys to her apt this morning so starting tonight we're going to be moving stuff in for her. Sat will be the day we move bigger things. Tomorrow is my birthday so I refuse to do any of it tomorrow. Hubby, Sadie and I are going to go for dinner then to rent a bike in the canal for a nice ride. Sunday we're picnickin with friends from church. Hopefully on Mon we'll have some time to relax. Tomorrow is also Sadie's last day at daycare....she'll miss it but we already have other plans of activities for her. She will be starting her early childhood class the week after next as well.

Not too much going on here either. Work today & tomorrow then off til Tuesday. My hubby's brother is supposed to be in the area (he travels around the country in his 5th wheel) and we are planning to hang out with him at the camp ground this weekend. Should be beautiful. Probably taking a side trip to visit my dad & enjoying a quiet weekend with my hubby. Tonight we get the girlies, it is off to back to school night for the oldest & we get to hear all about their first week of school. Hope you all have a great day!
