Court, glad to know you are in good spirits!!!!

Work as usual here today, and then I have time off to go to a dental appointment to get a tooth filled. After work, I am closing out my PartyLite candle book party. Glad that will be done with..... it was lokts of work!!! I do not want to let on that I am a good sales person (hee hee) always have been, but prefer working behind the scenes, that is when I get a few thoughts to myself..... I have a 2 year old at home, and love him to pieces, but have a hard time keeping on track with all of the constant interruptions, but would never change it for the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we have ice crystals on our (5:30am) deck, so I looked at our outside digital thermometer!!!
The snow is almost 1/2 way down the mountains too!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are definately going to have snow next month!!

Topic: Happy Tuesday from Home

So how was your Monday? MIne was pretty good. After getting my prescription, some books from the library, some craft supplies for a project I want to work on, I headed home to get better. Did some work from home, took a little afternoon nap, did some chores around the house & relaxed. Hubby and I went for an evening walk, hit the bed with windows open enjoying the beautiful fall weather.

On the books for today is a bit of work from home, a relaxing bath for some me time, and some work on a few projects I would like to get done. The windows are open and the breeze is beautiful!!!

Well we had lots of busy things planned but ended up nixing a few. Friday night the girlies ditched us for sleep overs with friends then Saturday a.m. we got the call from the doctor that the strep test came back positive on our oldest so off I went to pick her up from her friend's and explain that we accidently exposed their family. Called my sister to let her know that I wasn't going to make it to my nephews bday party as to not expose any of my family. Made it to soccer with the youngest but realized that I wasn't feeling well and had a low grade fever. We pretty much just chilled at home on Saturday night. Yesterday we headed out to the national zoo for some family time. Today I woke up still having a bit of a fever so I decided to get a doctor appointment. Sinus drainage & pressure etc. so I was thinking sinus infection. I was wrong, the oldest shared her strep with me. The doctor only even tested me because I had been exposed not because she thought I had it. So here I am at home for 2 days on antibiotics.

Ohhh I wish I could find a place to go on a hayride!! We had a great weekend. Fri night was spent packing and grocery shopping so we could relax the rest of the weekend. Sat we got up and headed out of town. We went to my husband's cousin's wedding. It was really small but soooo nice. Sadie loved the dance!! She did the hokey pokey with grandma and laughed the whole time. I think that was a great time for Grandma as well. She even slow danced with Grandpa. She fell asleep in dadd's arms. We spent the night in a motel...got up fairly early yesterday and drove the 2 hrs to meet my old friends for lunch. I haven't seen them for 15 or 16 yrs. They haven't changed at all....we sat there talking like we had never lost touch. My husband laughed and said man it's like you guys never missed a beat. What fun it was!! We spent last evening just relaxing at home. Well, we tried to relax anyway.....Sadie ended up in bed early cuz she was being a 2 yr old for sure. I'm sure she was very tired out from the long weekend too. Today is nothing...work and hopefully some time to escape into my book tonight while DH watches football.

Anyone do anything exciting this past weekend??

Saturday, we went out to the Fall Fest at the U-Pick farm & had activities and did a hayride with Hunter, we had a GREAT time!!!!!
