Woohoo it's Friday.   First thing I thought of when I woke up was....ohhhh man can't I just sleep a bit longer.....then I thought OMG it's Friday!!!!   Andd.....................I will be done with work at 2:30 today.  Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy    I have lots to do after work but that's ok.  Just lots of little things to get done so we can go tomorrow.  I have to decide what kind of salad I'm making...go get the ingredients....and make it.   We need to take Sadie shopping for a card and gift for her godfather.  We also need a card for her grandmas since one's bday was Wed and the other is this next weekend.  Then we need to throw some clothes together to bring with.   Thankfully it's just one night so not a lot is needed.  I really need to find some time to go through Sadie's dresser and closet and get all the stuff that's too small out of there so daddy and her brother quit trying to put it on her LOL.

She had her 4 yr check up yesterday.   No surprises were found within it.  In fact they told us nothing we didn't already know.   She's healthy and happy.   She's the size of ohhhhhh about a 6 yr old LOL.  She's 44 lbs and 43.5 inches tall.   She knows pretty much everything she needs to know in order to go to kindergarten...but has 2 yrs to wait to go yet.  The last thing is she failed the eye test miserably.    We already had an appt with the pediatric opthalmologist scheduled for Nov though.   He was really close to giving her glasses last yr so we're pretty sure it's happening this year.  She got 3 shots and the flu mist.   She was sooooo brave...didn't cry at all for the first 2 shots but the last one was all she could take...she knocked the nurse's arm and the needle came out of her leg so she had to poke her a 4th time,   Tears didn't last long though.

I keep telling myself..... "In 4 or 5 months, this will be a heat wave!!!"  Sad as that sounds, it is oh so true!!!  I love having a garage!!!  So nice to be able to hop in the car, after I get Hunter strapped in & go!!!!  DH parks outside & he has been plugging in.  Oh, do not think that he has it so bad.... When we were house hunting, I knew that if we did not find a house in our price range, with an out building (preferably heated) that I would have to give up the garage, for his man-room... wood shop.  So, when we found this house, in our price range, with a large flat lot, a shed, and a heated 16x20 shop.  I advocated HARD to get this house!!!  Honestly, it had everything that we wanted, I did not want much, basically another bathroom, no joke!!  We moved from a 3 bedroom, 1 bath tri-level house, into a 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch house.  Just about the same square footage, but not so chopped up (floor plan-wise).  But, our bedroom could be bigger.  It is functional, but, I think we lost about the length of 8 feet in our bedroom.  And, the house is newer, so it is more energy efficient & definately warmer!!!

Yee Haw!!!  It is the start of a new week.  Our days have gotten noticebly shorter too.... Sunrise is at 8:30am and sunset is at 6:55pm.

We had some rain last night & I had glare ice/frozen roads to drive on this morning..... had to take it slower is all.

My DH is on his way right now to get the camper winterized.  Told him a week or two ago, to get it ready, but he likes to procrastonate!!!!!

So, now we have the 'cooling trend' going on around here!!!!!
