I'm Amber. Im 23 years old and I have a 19 month old. I just had my RNY about 5 weeks ago. Im a stay at home mommy while hubby brings home the bacon, but im starting to not like it. Im trying to get my license to sell insurance and I will be going to cosmetology school in January. Somedays I want another baby so badly, but then my son throws a tantrum and the feeling disappears. LoL. I'm sure I will be ready in about years after my schooling is done and my son is a little older. Anyways, im excited to see some activity on here! Thats great and I cant wait to make some new mommy friends.
When I had my WLS surgery, I did get to my goal of 150. I started out at 310. I had been heavy all of my life. There was a "stranger" staring back at me through the mirror!!!! I had an abdimnioplasty 14 months after WLS. I worked to gain back some weight, because to me I WAS ANOREXIC!!! So, the weight I worked SO HARD to gain back, makes me overweight!!!! I am ready to go down on the scale again, but not sure if I can, or if my bodies "set-point" is stuck again at 230!!! But I will take that over 310 anytime!!!!
I have been holding staedy at this weight of 230 since 2004. I got pregnant in 2005, and had Hunter in 2006, when I was 34!!!!!!

I've had 2 seizures in the last year & a half. This last one was in June & they are checking things out. I had a MRI 1 1/2 weeks ago & I wasn't even home yet & they were calling to have me come in again for another one, but with contrast. They found "something" they want to take a closer look at. I've had an EEG too. I'll find out in the next 2 weeks what's up, but my neurologist and I are pretty confident it's nothing. When you have a seizure, they can tell on a MRI. I think they probably see that & just wanna look closer. Either that or they liked shoving this fat booty in that small space! LOL
