Wow, I hope you're making it through the day somehow.   I am home but wish I was in bed too!!   I didn't take my sleeping pill and slept horribly last night.  It's cold here today too...high of the day is supposed to be 20.   Our city Christmas parade is Fri and we're hoping it's not too cold as we'd like to take Sadie this yr.

But, I am at work.......
Hunter decided that he just was NOT going to sleep last night.  He is not sick, so, he just wanted to stay awake last night.  I think he got 2-3 hours, and Mark & I got about 2-3 hours each as well.  I am sure we will all sleep good tonight...... The trick is going to be making it through this day!!!!

-3 BELOW this morning!!!!  YAY!!!!  (not)  I work out in this weather.  Thankfully, I dressed warm today!!!

Thank You, Michelle!!!!  I am trying, and now I am motivated.  So, we ALL know that motivation is the key thing!!!

One day at a time.  It is hard to eat sensible sometimes, and then I get in that carb rut..... It seems so much easier & quicker to eat the wrong things!!!  But, jerky & lunchmeat is just as quick... no preparation need for it!!!  Yes, a little more expensive, BUT I AM WORTH the price!!!!  I just need to keep that mindset.

Great post Jamie!!   Let me know if you need some extra support because I'm right there with you.   I started a little over a week ago and lost 5 lbs.   I am trying not to eat bread, pasta, rice, crackers, cereal etc...   I have had a little here and there but have felt ok about the little I've had because it has been just that...a little!   I went shopping and bought lots of cheese because I love it and know I will snack on it instead of grabbing something bad for me.   I also got some yogurt and nuts.   I bought some deli meats too.   For lunch today I had 2 slices of deli ham and 2 slices of cheese.   My pouch has reset I do believe because jut eating that I felt very full.  Tonight for supper I had ground beef stirfry with just hamburger and veggies.   I did end up with a couple of andes mints tonight that hubby was eating but I had no bread, potatoes, pasta, rice, crax, or  cereal today.   I'm feeling good about it.   I have been exercising some but wish I could find time to do even more.   Even if I sneak a little I know it's much better than I was doing a couple of weeks ago.    Good luck and let me know how it's going!

So, I have slowly started changing things when it comes to the bad food choices & lacking in the exercise department............  I have been cutting out the carbs this last couple of weeks, and when I am weak, and "sneak" something with carbs........ I REFUSE to think badly of myself for it.

I have also added more and more water, and some more liquid protein, not the food kind.  Instead of getting the "head hunger" I was snacking on carbs, I now substitue that with protein, like meat of some sort.  (sliced, or jerky).

I am slowly, but steadily changing my bad, bad carb eating ways!!!!  I am also doing more exercising....... I am SLOWLY doing all of this.

At first, I had to admit that I need to do something.... to admit to myself that I need to change....
I am so slow in admitting or acting!!!!!  But, I AM doing!!!!!

One day at a time......

Woohoo my Monday work day is over!!   It was quite a busy one at that.   Wanna hear something funny right out of the mouth of a babe?

The mailman came and Sadie heard him put the mail through the slot in the porch.   She got all excited and ran to the door yelling "It's daddy!!".   LOL my mother in law now wants to know if there's something I haven't told her hehehehe.  

We had a pretty good weekend...busy but good.   Sadie stayed for 2 hrs with grandpa and grandma on Sat for the first time since she was like 3 months old.   They said she was an angel LOL>.....whose kid did they have?    She has always been afraid to stay and would cry and cry so we couldn't leave her with anyone but her brother and sister.   Now we have noticed she's grown up a lot and understands when we say we'll be right back.   What a big girl!!
