Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well!!   I plan to enjoy family today more than anything.   My husband on the other hand will enjoy the food one last time.   He's in the process of having surgery so he's sure this is his last Thanksgiving where he'll "pig out".   He knows it's not a bad thing though and actually said he's looking forward to next year.

We came out to my dad's to spend the night.  We are watching the parade with dad and then heading out to Matt's sisters for dinner. Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday!

Good luck Michelle. I haven't read what exactly is going on with your daughter (I assume on the above it is your 18 y/o) but I have been there? Not as a parent but as the daughter trying to find her own path and not making the "right" choices. I will keep you in my thoughts but also her. I hope that as she tries to find happiness in her own way that she do so without compromising her future or having to live with regret. I had to grow up to fast (as you probably have read I had my oldest son a month after I turned 16) though hine sight is 20/20 I have accepted that the things that were the most struggle helped to make me the person I am today. Remeber one of my favorite quotes or sayings when you talk with her (again unless she is in danger or jepordizing (sp) situation) "just because we are on different paths doesn't mean I have gotten lost"   take care

Yeah he is a very mature looking boy! It's hard to believe he just turned 16 in April, he's always been a big kid
