I have a 3 mile commute with a good job!!!  Is the job you are thinking of in Palmer??  Sorry, I just do not want to commute!!!!
Janurary is the beginning of a new calendar year, and so my hours start at zero & start to accumulate then.

Ugggghhh it's Monday.   I had a heck of a time hauling my butt outta bed here.   It's 5:40 am and already seems like Monday for sure.   My system for work is not up yet so I can't start work yet as I normally do.  

We had a good weekend for the most part.   Fri evening DH, Sadie, and I went to dinner.   We dropped DH off at church to work on the powerpoint for Sundays service.   We went home got snowpants boots etc... and went back to pick him up.   We'd had no snow yet believe it or not...but the snow was sooo softly falling just covering the ground.   It was so beautiful.   We had decided to take Sadie out for a walk in the snow.   Thankfully my husband remembered this place down by the lake that lights up their whole yard for Christmas.   They have an archway lit up...paths made through out the yard, a fire roaring, and a little building with cookies, hot cider annnnndddddddddddd   SANTA!!!   It was wonderful....Sadie loved all the lights and especially the fire.   She wasn't real sure of Santa but she talked to him.   She wouldn't  sit with him nor even give him 5.    We had a great time.   Sat she got up and asked if we could go to the mall.   Daddy had a day of watching football planned so she and I headed to our mall.  It was crowded but we had fun just walking around.   She spotted Santa and yelled, "there's santa again!".    We went over to look and she ran right up there in line and when it was her turn she crawled right up on his lap and talked away.   LOL   I'll have to get pictures on here later.   Then we left her home with her brother and made the 2 hr trip to St Paul with others from church for the Michael W Smith concert.   We had a wonderful time...the music was spectacular.   It was an orchestral Christmas concert with Melinda DooLittle from Am Idol there as well.   We got home at about 1am to a cat having been sick all over our bedroom carpet and on our bed....Uggghhhh so at 1 am I was scrubbing down the carpet and doing linen from our bed.   I finally got to sleep at abotu 3 am.....and was up at 7 when Sadie was up for the day.   We went to church and Luke, Sadie, and I lit the advent candles and did a reading.  After church we came home and did some housework etc.    We found out this weekend one of the couples we've become friends with at church's daughter is expecting triplets!!!   AAAAAAAHHHHH I can't even imagine!    We now have a place for Sadie's crib to go though LOL.   I think after Christmas I'm going to start getting a bag of diapers here and there and other thing so we can help them out a little bit.   What a blessing but oh so much to think about and figure out.  

Ok now that I've written a book I think I'll head off to see if my system is up yet.  Have a great day!!

That is great Jamie!  Less stress during the holidays is always a plus.

Work is going to extend my hours through the end of the year. 
YAY!!!!!  I have a job!!!!  My stress is slowly lifting as it is all sinking in!!!!
