Yesterday afternoon here at work proved to be a bit interesting, the computers went down after lunch & I was unable to do a few duties. So, today is catch-up & to get a few machines back on line in a little while. So, this morning will be interesting as well.

My hubby did get the box mailed out of state yesterday, so at least that part of the Christmas is done with.

Topic: Tuesday Greetings!

Morning all! How was your Monday? My Monday was pretty good. Work was a bit crazy but then I headed home for a quiet evening at home. Fixed dinner, wrapped presents, and finished up my Christmas Cards so that I can get them out in the mail. Got up early & git the gym this a.m. Work of course today. Not sure what is in plan for tonight. Got a few errands that need to be done but I am a bit draggy. I need some me time & a nail appointment so perhaps that will be in store for tonight. Hope you have a great one!

Hubby said it in an awsome way over the weekend, to his aunt on the phone. He said "I had a raelly nice house, before we moved here. But I never knew what I was missing!!"

We had a pretty good weekend. Well, other than still being sick. DH and I both have been sick. I'm a little better but still not real well. Saturday we went to my husband's grandpa's 93rd birthday party. While there the snow/ice started falling. We headed home and stopped off to get a few things on our way. We got up Sun morning to the whole town pretty much being shut down. There was no church, mall closed, buses pulled off the roads etc... We were in a blizzard. We ended up only getting about 9 inches of snow at our house but the winds were so strong you couldn't see in front of you. Today now the temps are very cold. Right now it's -8 but the windchills are -23. The actual temp should be about -20 tonight for a low. It's going to be a coooolllllld week. Sadie and I are going to have lunch with daddy at work today. I have today off to try and finish up some Christmas stuff. I did get 4 different kinds of cookies made yesterday and have 2 more to go then I"m done. We'll finish up our shopping Wed night I think and will just have to wrap.

It has been below zero temps for the las 5-6 days. Hoping for some cloud cover & snow, to bring up the miseabrly COLD weather.
Friday night was the kids Christmas Party at work & Hunter had a BLAST!!!!!!!!! Santa was there, Subway sandwhiches, a cake walk (little kid's cakes) and a craft, to make a tree ornament.
Saturday, we did manage to go see the train come in to the downtown depot. (it was -17 below). Then, we walked 3 blocks.................. Had to get in out of the cold twice..... with a 2 year old. So we could go & see another Santa. Then, off to finish up shopping for gifts for a box to send out of state today. At 6:30, we drove down to see the fireworks. I parked so we could sit in the car and watch..... still below zero temps. The fireworks were GREAT!!!!!!!
Sunday, I got stuff accomplished around the house. Was not going to go out, if I did not have to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO THANK YOU.
Today, it is only -11 below.:::::::::::::::::::::::::: I am not looking foward to it, I have to work in & out of this weather all day & all wekk long, and I think it will be a LLLLOOOOONNNNGGGGG week if this weather keeps up!!!! YUCK!!!!

Topic: Happy Monday!

How was your weekend? Our's was crazy busy. Friday night it was off to get the girlies, took the oldest & her boyfriend out to dinner while we waited for the youngest to finish up her school dance. After waiting for the boyfriend to be picked up it ended up being a long night. Got home & dealt with some grade issues. Saturday was on the go from the time I woke up. We did Christmas shopping, got my nephew for a sleepover, baked pies, cupcakes, did dinner, went to look at Christmas lights, did gingerbread houses and finally hit the bed. Yesterday was go go go also. Got up, headed to my dad's to celebrate his bday, then it was off to the mall for more shopping, then home to do laundry & settle in for another week. Not sure what is in stock for today. Work of course, really wanting a quiet night at home but there is shopping to finish, errands to run, etc so we shall see. Have a great one!
