My Thursday was horrible.   I had a terrible day at work and it was hard to move on after it was over.   So far today is better...heck just being Friday makes it better.   I never even got here to post yesterday aahhh.   We have a busy full weekend ahead.   Tonight is my work EE appreciation/holiday party.   Should be fun.   Some old friends of mine will be here tomorrow and Sun.   Hoping to get a little rest in as well.   We're going to the bank to talk to them about a loan for a house.   We do have a couple we'd like to peek at but need this part out of the way first.    The one we looked at on Wed was horrible...would take way to much money and work to make it liveable.   Hope you have a great weekend!

How is it going?  My Thursday was okay.  Work was crazy as usual.  Had an issue with the washer at the condo so we had to call a repair man for that.  Back to School night last night for the oldest, new semester so she has new classes.  Not too much planned for the weekend, we have the girlies so I am sure there will be things popping up all over the place.  My newest niece arrived yesterday.  Kayleigh was born at 6:00 p.m., 7 lbs, 12 oz, 20 inches long, with a head full of dark hair.  Hoping I can go see her this evening.  Hope you have a fun day & weekend!!!!

Please keep my youngest son Malik (maleek) in your thoughts on Tuesday Feb 10. He is having plates and screws in both knees removed. Long story short. He has multiple though minor issues with his legs. The worst and most important was to get his bowed legs (Blount's Disease) straight so that they could work on getting the other things corrected. Well after 10 years of doc visits and waiting for him to "outgrow" the bow his orthopedic doc decided that his bow wouldn't correct on it's own like they thought and that surgery was the only option. So Dec 13th 2008 he had 8-plates put in the growth plates of both of his knees to slow the growth on the outer side of the bone so that the inner could catch up. Well at our 1 year follow up his legs are straight! and they are going in to remove them. Please pray that the surgery is uneventful and that his legs continue to grow straight at the same rate (so they don't rebow). The last time he was only in wheel chair for a little over a month and was cruising with a walker. After months of physical therapy he was back 100%. Our hope is this time the surgery will go even smoother!   Thanks girls

So how was your Wednesday?  It was great to see some of you guys posting yesterday.  We miss you.  My day was tough at work but then hubby made sure I got the chance to relax once I got home.  Not too much planned for today.  We get the girlies tonight, new classes this semester at school so there is back to school night which we will be going to.  That will pretty much take our whole evening.  Hope you have a great day!!!!

January around here tends to be a minimal snowfall month and this yr was no different.   We actually got way more cold than I would've liked.   Hope you get all caught up on your work so you can rest easy next week with your child's surgery.   We've missed you here!

I'm here...I'm sick and we've been buried under snow and ice but I'm here!!!!   I was out all last week b/c of 12 inches of snow and ice b/c I am SCCAARREEDD to drive in this mess. It started again last night and we got about 6 inches more but I was able to make it in around 10AM. So needless to say I have alot of work to catch up on and that sucks. Jamie and Michelle can have all their snow back please. We Kentuckians can only handle 2-3 inches at a time please. It's Wenesday I have 1 1/2 weeks of work to do and will be out again Tuesday and Wens of next week due to my youngest having surgery (another post coming)

Hope everyone is staying warm
