Good!!! Because WINTER is NOT over yet!!!! Glad that if it was going to rain, it got it over with, so that it could melt off alot of the ice & then snow..... now, tonight, it is supposed to clear off, and cool off.
Oh ya..... edited because I forgot to say the most important thing. I called the elementary school yesterday to find out how the pre-registration works & all the details for how kindegarten works. Gosh, seems like I was just leaving the hospital with Hunter!! Now, I am getting ready to put him in school??!!?? CRAZY!!!!!

I'm still sick but just plugging along through it. I hate to use my PTO for sick. I am not working OT anymore so I can make it 8 hrs right??? LOL I have an hr training this afternoon with a good friend of mine so that should help. Otherwise I have no plans but to curl up with Sadie tonight and read some books. We'll probably catch some American Idol too....Ohhhh and Sadie's favorite is Minute to Win It. Hubby will be gone so it'll be a quiet relaxing night Yayyyy!

Today is Sadie's school night but momma has a bad cold so we'll see if I feel up to going. I'm not even telling her it's school day until we go if we do. Don't want to disappoint her. This Sat is her father daughter ball so hopefuly daddy doesn't catch it. They're both soooo excited for this. Me too...I get the evening to myself.

Had my 39th b-day yesterday & a nap too!!! My in-laws (whom I LOVE dearly) booked their tickets to come up this summer.
Still getting things going with Dr. K's office in California to go down there next month. Just working out the final details before I book my ticket. I am planning a short, but NECESSARY trip, like 4 days.

I hope your scan went well today. I'll have to keep that book in mind and check it out. I think our group is close to being done with our book.

Getting ready to go to my thryoid scan, and then bible study tonight. We are doing a book called Crazy Love. (The author's last name is Chan) It is a pretty good study so far.

It started out as a great day but it's not ending so well. It's 11:30pm and here I sit. Our furnace is out!! It's about 63 degrees in here still so not too bad yet. Hubby is down messing with it...I went and bought new fuses to try but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Ahhhh he's calling for someone to come out and look at it now. He's thinking it's the blower but I'm not so convinced. Hopefully it's not anything too terrible. Sadie is curled up in our bed with the electric blanket so she hasn't even realized it LOL. Oh well here's to curling up with Sadie under that electric blanket.
Other than that life is just plugging away.

Well, the weather is MILD today, which is really NICE!!! Supposed to be in the high 20's in the daytime and upper teens at night. Went to the doc for a check up last night & he put me high blood pressure pills. No suprise. Been having problems with it for months. Tomorrow, I go for a thyroid scan. Thyroid runs in our family. This Sunday I will be 39, old age sure is creeping up on me!!! HA HA HA!!!

I am keeping warm, for now anyways!!! It is in the 20's... above that is!!!! That is a 40 degree temperature change!!! And, with the snow yesterday, we also had a little bit of moisture (Alaska has a dry-type of cold). When I got home from work yesterday, we all had snowcones, courtsey of the fresh snow & those crystal light packets for your water bottles, so easy & cheap!!! Hunter had 3!!! And wanted another, all the while his teeth were chattering, goof ball!! Of course, this was all after he made a snow angle while helping daddy shovel off the back deck.
You are LUCKY you do not have to go out in that COLD!!! Ya, the cold is harsh, but haing the 'luxury' of being able to stay at home & not to have to go anywhere????!!!!! Girlie, you got NO ROOM to whine!!! LUCKY DUCK!!! I sure hope that the cold weather does not last too long for you, though!!!!
