Well, the seller counter offered and we accepted today!!!   Woohoo we offered lower than we were willing to pay knowing he'd probably counter offer and we wanted to leave room to bargain.   He came up to just about what we wanted to pay and is paying most of the closing  costs etc.   The appliances all are staying as well.   Our closing date is April 3.   OMG that's less than a month away...I better get busy packing.   We are having the home inspection on Friday at 5pm so unless there's any major problems we're set to go.  We're all very excited....I can't wait to go back for the inspection now.   Now that I know it'll be ours I can start looking around as to what will go where etc...

A bit of schedule here today.  The girlies had a 1 hour delay at school so I took them in this a.m. & that has me running behind.  Not a big deal but it does make the waiting for the house harder.  Hoping we hear something soon...  Enjoyed an evening ful of kids last night.  Nothing planned for tonight so hopefully we will get a chance to relax.   Have a great one!

The situation at the gilr's mom's house is not going good.  They are all under a lot of stress and having a difficult time.  Remember them in your thoughts & prayers please.

hi ladies! thanks for responding! i am part of a mommy board too but im so happy to be part of this one as well. i only post while im at work because if im home and have free time id rather sleep!!! that was another question i had, having kids after surgery? i want more kids, i know i have to wait a year and thats fine (who has the money now anyway?!) but i want the surgery before i have more kids. being 5'3" and pregnant at 240lbs was hard enough, let alone now that im 20lbs heavier! but im afraid that if i get pregnant after the surgery that i will balloon right back up again.
sorry i have a ton of confusions and concerns. i know 3 people who had the surgery and one was very successful, another hardly, and the third was my 67 year old uncle who is 5ft tall 450lbs and was told he had to do it for life or death, he is down to 200, still heavy but healthy! i consider that a success!

Happy Wednesday!   I'm sooo ready for it to be Friday already!   We still haven't heard on the house.   He had a showing yesterday and wanted to wait to make a decision until after that.  Our realtor said we should hear back either last night or today.   He has 3 days from when we made the offer to either accept or counter offer so hopefully today.   We did hear that the dog kennel my husband was hoping they'd leave was his son's so he can't leave that.   Oh well LOL.    I could think of worse things.  We went to school with Sadie last night and had a really good time.  Tonight is my night to relax...dh has pool leagues tonight.  I am making my drunken mushrooms for church tomorrow night.   We have a potluck.   Other than that hopefully I'll get to spend some quality time with Sadie.    She woke up completely dry for the first time this morning.   I told her how big she was and how proud I was of her.   She's only had 1 accident since last Wed and that was yesterday at about supper time.   She was trying to get there but just couldn't.   We actually even went out to run errands etc.. yesterday without the pullup just big girl panties on.   She did great.   She wore them to school last night as well and no problems.

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

Hi Jill & Welcome!  Can;t really answer your question either as I don't have any little ones.  I do have nieces & nephews so right after surgery it was a bit of a problem cause I couldn't hold or lift them.  I just showed them my big boo boo and would offer my hand when they wanted to be held.  It wasn't long before my energy was soaring and I was able to play so much more with the little ones.

Jill....so glad to see you posting here.    So far we're a small bunch of ladies but we are hoping more join us.   I can't say much about younger kids after surgery.   My kids were 12 and 14 when I had surgery.   I now have a 2 yr old as well.   I had my surgery 4 1/2 yrs ago.   I will say that the little bit of setback if any in playing with your 15 month old will be well worth it in the end.   I think about this every day as I play on the floor with my 2 yr old.   We go to a music class weekly and dance and crawl around on the floor.   I never would've been able to do this pre surgery.   Please feel free to ask any questions and stick around.   We're a good group of ladies.

Welcome, Jill.  Glad to see you post here.  I unfortunately cannot give you feedback on the surgery after kids question, but I am sure that someone might be able to halp with that.  I had my surgery before I had my child.
Glad you are almost finished up with your pre-surgery appointments, YAY!!!!!!

Got a surgery date yet??  Stick around on this boardm if you want.  I know it is slow, but the ladies here are nice.
