CANCELING SURGERY

I MAY HAVE TO CANCEL SURGERY , MY CHILDCARE JUST CANCELED ON ME! I HAVE A 5 MONTH OLD AND A TWO YEAR OLD...HUBBY CANT TAKE OFF..(OWN BUSINESS..NO WORK NO PAY)...MORE THAT TWO DAYS A WEEK....I'VE BEEN TOLD IT WILL BE AT LEAST SIX WEEKS BEFORE I CAN PICK UP THE 5 MONTH OLD...WHO WEIGHS 17 POUNDS....SO IT LOOKS LIKE I AM FORCED TO CANCEL..UNTIL I CAN FIND RELIABLE CARE FOR THE CHILDREN...FEELING SO DOWN...I WAS TOLD BY MY PCP THAT I NEEDED TO COME IN FOR PRESSURE MEDICATION...THOUGHT THIS SURGERY WOULD RELIEVE ME FROM THAT BURDEN...BUT TUESDAY I WILL HAVE TO GO AND GET THEM... ALSO POSTED ON THE MAIN BOARD, WOULD LIKE SUGGESTIONS.

have u asked your family or looked into child care at a day care in your area. and because u own your own business you may be able to get some kind of finanicaly assistance for this?? just my thoughts, hope all works out for you ! Paula

I do feel for you. I just had surgery, ended up open, and had to send my children away to another state with a family member for 3 weeks. After 4 weeks I was better able to hand my 19 pounder, but she is 18 months, so she was able to climb into my lap instead of having to lift her. I also have an 11 year old who was able to help. It was hard, but doable. Do you have family somewhere who may be willing to help with this? Praying you don't have to cancel. HUGS Kimberly

Hi Chasing. Did you find someone to watch you children, it's not past your original surgery date & was just wondering if were able to get it done or not. I so hope you did. I'll keep praying for you.
