Just back from surgery and worried about daughter

My daughter went to stay with her grandparents until Wednesday. (My surgery was this past Friday). I am getting my drain removed Wednesday afternoon, before she gets home. My daughter is 17 months old. I decided not to tell here anything because I am hoping she will have no memory of me being large. I am very worried though, that she will not understand that Mommy can not pick her up for six weeks (per the doctor) or even cuddle with her for a few days due to soreness. What should I tell her? How do I explain? Will she be hurt and upset? What should I expect? Will this have a negative impact on our relationship later on? I know I am probably overreacting. I am a bit emotional right now. I think I may be starting the hormonal thing that I here some people struggle with right after surgery. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks, Kristina

Hi! I'm sure by now you are more than able to cuddle your baby. I was just wondering how things went???
