complainer

my 7 year old complains about everything and it really works my nerves HELP!!!!!!!! how can i get her out of this

Sitting down and talking to him. When she starts to complain....tell her, that this evening at x oclock there will be a captains complaint mast (this is what the military calls it LOL) and that you will listen to all of her complaints, but until that ime, you would like her to put on a cheerful face. If she cannot wait, then she must go in another room, that you will not allow her to upset you or any other members of the family. I got that advice from a lady on one of my mothering boards so I can't claim ownership, but I hope that it helps. If not, try try again. Good Luck, God Bless.

Boy can I relate to this one... Only mine is 5 going on 6 next week. And she still Whines...Oh it drives me crazy. I just keep telling her I can*t hear what you are saying. I know she does all this for attention! She is such a drama Queen. Don*t get me wrong I LOVE HER... but the complaining and whining... And now your child is 7 yr.... I was hoping mine would out grow it...guess not Did you get any other advise? Pass it on to me if you did.... My daughter is a good kid... I just think she should of been an only child. Tasha
