No hysterectomy for me

I am so happy!!!!  I actually got out of bed this morning EXCITED, and not dreadful!!!!!
We are going to do 2 procedures (day surgeries) 3 months apart.  And the bonus is that I get my bladder fixed too!!!  So, instead of being in the hospital a few days, and 6-8 weeks off from work (I work a physical job) I only need to take 2 weeks off each time.
I am getting the essure placed at the same time.

Michelle, tell me again, your personal experince, please, either here, or in a PM, I sure would appreciate the feedback about that.

That's great news Jamie!!!!   The essure procedure was a breeze!!  I went in they gave me a little something to relax me...I slept through the whole thing.  I had no pain whatsoever...was up shopping that same evening.   The test 3 months later to be sure the tubes were blocked was worse than the actual placement.   But still wasn't bad at all.  Just some cramping.  If you have specific questions   send me a message I'm open to answering anything!!  I've had no issues at  all since having mine which was 3 1/2 yrs ago.

My colonoscopy went well yesterday.   They found no issues there so my anemia is just due to my RNY....will see what my Dr wants me to do now.  I'll put a call in to her next week to see.  The worst part was the IV...too 7 pokes to get one in...finally a nurse anesthetist got it in .  I slept most of the day away and still feel kinda groggy this morning.
