THE WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON AKST TUESDAY ALONG
THE DENALI HIGHWAY AND NORTH AND WEST OF TALKEETNA.
LOW PRESSURE OVER THE GULF AND COLD AIR MOVING ACROSS THE ALASKA
RANGE ARE COMBINING TO CREATE WIND WITH WIND CHILL READINGS OF 35 TO
50 BELOW ALONG THE DENALI HIGHWAY AND NORTH AND WEST OF TALKEETNA.
THESE CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN
FROSTBITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
And, YES, I DO work outside!!!!! I will take care of myself!!!

All I can say is BRRRRRRRRRRR!!! We were there last week but today it's almost 40 degrees...the snow is melting!! I know it won't last but man it feels good!
Happy Valentine's Day!! Sadie is loving this holiday! Her and I are home alone. DH was home for a whole hr and had to go back to work because someone called in and nobody could fill it. Oh well Sadie and I will make the best of it!
