Very Welcome Friday!

Yayyy it's Friday!   It's been a long short week LOL.   I can't believe I only worked 3 days this week...it seems like 10.   Of course we've been pretty busy doing other things too. 

It's brrrrrrfreezing here!   Expected windchill this morning was supposed to be near -50.   I'm not sure what it actually is..just glad I don't have to go out in it.  I was out and about last evening and it was cold enough then.  We did our monthly volunteering at the Ruby's pantry food distribution.  Sadie just loves to go help out there.  She was making all kinds of friends while working.  All the older ladies were just loving her company and she theirs.  It's such a good thing for her to learn to do something to help others and to enjoy it on top well that's just a bonus. 

The weekend has lots of housework in store and grocery shopping.   Hubby and I have tickets to the rodeo and Jake Owen concert tomorrow night.  Wow a night out without Sadie what will we ever do??   It's been a while since we've had that.  I'm sure we will enjoy it greatly though. 

Jamie, I hope you're keeping warm!!   I was talking with a girl from church last night that's heading up there to work at a camp for the summer...uggghhh for the life of me I can't remember where...but I do remember it's a really remote location.   I was thinking of you though as we were talking.

I am keeping warm, for now anyways!!!  It is in the 20's... above that is!!!!  That is a 40 degree temperature change!!!  And, with the snow yesterday, we also had a little bit of moisture (Alaska has a dry-type of cold).  When I got home from work yesterday, we all had snowcones, courtsey of the fresh snow & those crystal light packets for your water bottles, so easy & cheap!!!  Hunter had 3!!!  And wanted another, all the while his teeth were chattering, goof ball!!  Of course, this was all after he made a snow angle while helping daddy shovel off the back deck.

You are LUCKY you do not have to go out in that COLD!!!  Ya, the cold is harsh, but haing the 'luxury' of being able to stay at home & not to have to go anywhere????!!!!!  Girlie, you got NO ROOM to whine!!!  LUCKY DUCK!!!  I sure hope that the cold weather does not last too long for you, though!!!!
