Wow what a whirlwind weekend!!!   Why do they always go so quickly?   We had a busy one for sure.   Friday DH took Sadie to the high school football game while I did some errands.   Sat we went to the fall festival and then attended a local event to recognize the victims of 9/11.   Got a little housework done as well.   Yesterday we got up and headed to church early to help with the breakfast.   Just before the service started I got a message from my cousin's wife that our uncle had passed away.   He'd had quadruple bypass surgery a little over a week before and didn't come through the surgery well at all.   He was in a coma since surgery.   It was a tough day...bringing back memories of my parents and grandparents who have all passed on.  It shall be a trying week as we get ready to pay our last respects.  My husband works at the hospital and was there the morning he went into surgery.   He was able to talk to him and try to comfort him.   It's wrong but I so wi**** had been me.   Oh well he is now with his parents, brother, and sister watching over us.

Sadie starts swim lessons this week and school next week.   We're getting back into the fall routine again.   We will be leaving on Friday to visit with my family and attend a MN Twins baseball game with friends and family.

Hope you are all having fun!

Michelle,

Sorry for you loss.  Sure sounds like your weekend was truely a whirlwind of one, for sure!!!  Have a GREAT time at the ball game!!!

I have been struggling A LOT lately, but it is slowly getting better, step, by step.  DH & I (well, actually ME-I was the one holding back) went to our first counseling session this last weekend.  I go alone next weekend.  This will help me get back 'on track'  I usually suffer from SAD-when it starts to lose signifgant daylight, I take medicine for that, then, in the spring, I wean myself off.  I did just that, this past spring, and in June, I desperately (my doctor & husband were adamant!!) needed to go back on them.  I would say 95% of that was because of this shoulder injury.  My ""MENTALITY / ANAL RETENTATIVENESS"" is: If I cannot work, I am WorThLess.  Yes, stupid, I know, but this is just how I am.
It does not help that I have only been able to go out camping one time this entire summer & not even go fising at all!!!!  That does not help at all!!

I am thinking of wanting to take a week off of work, but, the double-edged sword of that, is I am SO close to re-submitting for my revision, I have been saving up my leave time, ya know?
