TGIF
Well, it seems we're all busy these days. Not many posts. I'm very glad it's Friday. It's been a long week but I have a 3 day weekend now so that'll be nice. We're heading out of town this afternoon and will be back Sun evening. I hope it's a nice relaxing weekend.
Sadie is doing great. Swim lessons are really great. We noticed last night that she's really picked up a lot in these 6 weeks. I think we're signing her up for another session as well. Next week is the last one for this session.
Next week I work 4 days and then we're off for 9 and are going camping.
Hope everything is doing well!
I am a "fishing widow" for the weekend. DH is out with his buddys fishing in Kenai & Seward. One of his friends, who used to live up here, and moved to Colorado about 4 years ago, is up visiting. So, they are catching up with each other & fishing!!
Then, it will be on to the moose, and caribou killing!! August will be a busy month, for getting our meat in the freezer for the winter!!
Update on my father-in-law... he had his stem-cell transplant last friday & is doing ok. The people down at Stanford University said for him to expect to be hospitalized about 5 days after the initial transplant, because that is how the majority of stem-cell transplant patients do, the get sick, and then, get hospitalized, and then, once they are better, they are released. The people at Stanford University said that DH's dad will not have to have chemo for 7 years!!! By that time, he will be 75!!
So, it has been bumpy, busy & stressful, but we are all plugging along the best we can!!!
