TGIF

I just can't figure out why these short weeks seem so long??   Oh well just glad it's Friday anyway.   I have gotten most of my OT in already too so I'll be done at 2:30pm.   We have a buys weekend planned again but it should be fun.   Tonight is a type of block party going on....carnival games, food, music, pony rides, etc...   Tomorrow morning we're going to get up and take my niece and Sadie out for breakfast and then head up the shore of Lake Superior to Split Rock Lighthouse.   It'll be a day of hiking and fun in the sun.  We talked about setting up the tent in the afternoon...which means Sadie will want to sleep in it.   Also we need to get grocery shopping done.  Sunday we have a lunch after church and then hubby has a fishing tournament.   Hoping the girls and I can just come home and relax for the evening. 

We're busy planning a camping trip for next month when we're on vacation.  Oh I can't wait. Thankfully it'll come fast.   We're busy this weekend...next weekend my sisters are coming, then the weekend after is girl's weekend to go to country jam, then the weekend after we're going to my husband's uncle's house and then it's our vacation.   Wow we are busy!!  

I sure hope you are all enjoying your summer as much as we are.   It's been right around 80 degrees here lately but cooling off at night.

Did I mention I posted new pics in my profile, but I have not put captions on them.  They are from our trip down to California 5-6 weeks ago.

Our temps have been in the mid 50's and low 60's.  kinda cool.  But today has been clear & hot, so it has been challenging for me not to sweat to death!!!  So, during my afternoon lull, here at work, I have had my shoes & socks off, and the fan's running, along with propping doors open to let the air flow through!!!!

Not too much planned around our house, DH is working, so Hunter & I will find things to do.  Thankfully, DH works early, and is usually home around 3pm, so we still get to enjoy lots of hours with him!!!!
